  1. I just wish there was a bigger conversation about how even if CP2077 came out without a single glitch, it still wouldn't be the game CDPR advertised it to be, and would still have been some degree of disappointing.

  2. Am I the only one in the world that put over 100+ hours into CyberPunk, got the platinum trophy and loved every fucking minute of it with only a hand full of bugs? – played on PS5 to be fair, but only real problem I had were crashes. But the trade off for enjoyment was worth it for me, personally. I for one, can't wait for more content and bummed that the shitty launch on last-gen has delayed any of that 😫😂 big love best friends.

  3. Sean Murray and Hello Games were heavily criticized when they didn't speak about No Man's Sky launch AT ALL. For months. And when they finally did speak up again, it was only to say "Hey, we're making some changes." Then people understood that they were quiet because they were trying to fix what happened, and not to open themselves up to further scrunity. Maybe CDPR needs to take a page from that book, take the hits that they deserve, and if and when a game-changing patch comes for Cyberpunk, THAT is when they should finally speak up. People say they're "never going to forgive them!" which I think is kind of overblown. If CDPR just shuts up and gives us something better by the end of the year, a lot of people would forgive them. Not everyone, but a lot. But instead, they keep trying to defend themselves and it just seems like nobody knows what "public relations" means at that studio. They just keep digging that hole.

  4. I think it's as simple as saying that all of us, the average consumers, the "gamers", and the media got swept up in believing CDPRs bullshit that they were different. They are not.

  5. Guys, demos are just like a BicMac ad… Eventually you do get a BicMac, but not so polished, not so structured. All the ingredients are somewhat there but in no way like the Ad… Not making excuses for anyone – I've played the game on Series X (plays great mostly) – but it is very rare to see an actual demo completely implemented with all the bells and whistles in a game.

  6. LESSON: Don't be easily hyped and swayed by Demos and trailers. Sure it's nice but this should be a lesson to everyone. Do not believe at anything you see. Believe it when you have actually played the game.

  7. The huge thing with the CDPR marketing was not just trailers etc but the whole merchandising of Cyberpunk & giving influencers so much free stuff including gaming chairs so Cyberpunk was literally everywhere. The amount of people I saw buying so much merch before even playing the game was crazy

  8. I don't usually pre-order games. I only trusted 2 devs; CDPR and Paradox, but I still didn't pre-order on faith alone. (Paradox's CK3 is on gamepass, so I didn't have to order that at all)
I pre-ordered Cyberpunk and THPS, but only after Blessing and Tim had said they were legit.
Both cases you based your recommendation on what the publishers had given you. Activision were honest and CDPR were not.
Activision aren't beloved and Tim had been burnt before so he was skeptical, and I was too, but they nailed it.
Whereas CDPR have always said the right thing so we trusted them. Blessing got hands on over streaming and it was pre-release so I completely understand giving them the benefit of the doubt.
If they genuinely didn't know the PS4 version was fucked, they would have let Blessing play that and he would have said this things is definitely not ready. They knew and they lied, and they continue to lie. I'm really disappointed.

  9. They should not present a videogame demo or gameplay until the game is 75%-80% complete or even more. They need to present a legit gameplay form the actual finished product, or at least almost finished game. The hype train is a huge trap for consumers and companies capitalize on the hype, it even looks that it is the new norm.

  10. 2077 game now does not play better and car ambushes or chases dont exist. The cops can even chase you and have you noticed your the only person on a bike in the entire open world unless its a story mission 🤣

  11. Big ups to Tim for pushing back on Schreier's reporting. While it's true that he can sometimes be a positive force for change in the industry; it is also his career and livelihood. So make no mistake that Schreier has an agenda. This "brand" of reporting is how he makes his money. Be a critical reader.

  12. In regards to the demo, every frame of that demo has a watermark noting that it is not representative of the final product. I am not defending CDPR for all the flak they are getting, but that demo was more clear than 90% of other game demos in communicating it's work in progress status.

  13. I think the continued grilling of Cyberpunk and CD Projekt Red is an extension of cancel culture, and I don’t entirely agree or disagree with it. They messed up big time, and they need to be held accountable because we don’t want others to ever do the same thing. But at the same time… when does this end? When is enough? I’m not saying it’s too much already, but realistically, it’s never going to be popular to empathize with the bad guy.

  14. Bless, to answer "how should we market video games"…the answer is simply "later". Wait until they're closer to completion to start sharing with the public. We've slowly inched farther away from launch windows when talking about marketing. Marketing budgets have outgrown development budgets. It's ridiculous.

  15. You gave this game a 10/10, or 9/10, can’t remember through all your paid bullshit! You misled gamers, the public and lost all credibility! I now know why they gave this review to you Bless! They knowingly threw you under the bus, and I have no doubt you were given a script by not only Greg and the team, yet, also CDPR sponsor money!

For shame! I always knew Greg was a huge piece of shit(he can’t have someone taller than him, whine), they screwed you, and you know it! Your review was censored, scripted, and monitored like GB and CCTV! How far you all have fallen. Token, I suggest you find a new employer. They clearly have White Privilage!
