Noelle and Lumine are my favorites (with Amber as a close third) and I know my tastes are basic ๐ but Lumine was one of the first characters I saw before I got the game and she was so cute that I was excited to learn she was the traveller/protagonist.
Then I got Noelle and I really like her style of fighting. I found I love using that style cause of Breath of the Wild so when I played as Noelle, I came to love her!
I actually jokingly say whenever I share my love of Lumine how basic my tastes are. All in good fun ๐ also the reason I love Amber a lot is because she reminds me a lot of my best friend. Her smile is even really similar to my friend's so it's just a personal love for the character. Plus I enjoy archery as well irl and fire is my favorite element.
I'm also still new to the game and it can get overwhelming for me so I don't constantly play and haven't had a lot of experience with a lot of characters yet. I really only know most of them from the stans on twitter that got me to play the game in the first place.
