I'm only one view, but I would watch your retrospective. I think you have more reach in the League community than you realize, and a fair and considered take might leave an impression on Riot for next time.

The design idea of Shyvana looking very humanlike but slowly shifting towards a dragon form in a few stages makes me super excited about how it would look and feel ingame. The mental image I get is amazing, I hooooope this idea gets picked up by Riot. Thank you for treating me to the design, Skyen and thanks to sarcartsticfringehead for drawing it!
First of all his Dragon form kind of mixing human anatomy into a dragon I have to say the DOTA Dragon Blood anime did it better. Also they did Davian some more better than Savannah where he killed and Elder Dragon and that's how he got his power. Although the newer version that between has it so display rack the Elder Dragon is slowly taking control of him which will eventually result in his death. I do have to say her gameplay design is one that barely works and the alluh akbar playstyle is not what she is supposed tondo. Of course a dragon is going to be a juggernaut or even a diver but not a bastardized mage that's only useful for 20 seconds and then fades from existance for 60-90 seconds.

Funny enough, at the time the event kept my attention just for one and only thing, shyvana (thought she was super cool looking that's pretty much it) but this detail put aside… I wasn't that much interested in the sense that I wasn't motivated to play league just to get the story of the event. But I still want to get a glimpse of it, so yea, if you could do it, it will make my day.

I always thought Shyvana was an escaped Noxian experiment. In my head cannon, Noxus tried to fuse human and dragon with magic to form another living weapon to be chained next to Sion and unleashed in moments of war. They failed to brain wash her into a mindless instrument of war and she flees to Demacia. She isn't a magical being by choice or born with it which was probably why Jarvan took pity on her. This could then lead into the ruined Shyvana skin with her trying live a normal life but has PTSD on the horrid experiments done to her.
The only thing I had going with this is that her armour is the same colour as Darius', so he probably commissioned the experiment.
PS: or did she escape? Maybe she only thinks she escaped. Maybe it's all according to plan for Swain.
Well now I need a tbskyen Christmas album.
I want Shyvana move to noxus and be the right hand of Swain and help him rebuild Noxus
Actually, the pentakill lore itself is more interesting than the sentinels thing. So many things was putted away (hello yorick). So… I just want to get to another thing, i am not interest on sentinels of light.
I think Shyvana should keep her Armor in her dragon form. Because that is what differentiates her from a normal dragon. And she dosnt want to be a normal dragon. She wants to be a Demacian. So i think it would be wrong if her strongest Form would remove everything that makes her look demacian.
Her strongest Form should make her look like a dragon and a Demacian. Because thats what she wants to be. She wants to be both.
The sentinel event was terrible for lore. I would like to see a video about it.

I wonder wether what happens to Shyvanna is also holds true for Poppy. Does she just use her yordle magic to keep her true form concealed from the demacians? Or does she get a sort of "bonus" for being there since the very foundation?

I completely agree with the take on shyvana joining the mage rebellion ! It makes so much sense in regards to her inner turmoil.

She has been my main since I started playing in season 7, I love the idea of a girl that hides her true nature from others to fit in because I can relate to that feeling
I think her human form should be a mix of her ironscales skin and the dragon guard armor, I love redhead Shyvana, ditch the helmet because it's stupid and give her long hair that turns into a tail when she becomes a dragon, I want the transformation to feel like a key part of her gameplay too, it already is but we need to enhance the experience because it feels really cool to just ram through people while this big dragon lady is engulfed in flames
Also give her some muscles and make her attack with claws made out of flames covering her hands instead of those gauntlets she currently has

A funny thing about how almost all female characters have to wears heels is that, in real life, heels accentuate certain part of the body and give a few inches to the female actress and whatnot, só there is that, but in a drawing or a 3d model where you can make anything it just does'nt make any actual sense beside "looking feminine" and looks really silly
Yet again that mini fanfic is 20 times better than what they will make. So good. Had me tearing up.
