  1. I’ve been playing siege for years, and it’s been a big influence on my gaming career, but ever since the Crimson Heist season, I just haven’t enjoyed it. Too many changes where it wasn’t needed, balances poorly executed, shitty community, I just had no reason to stay. I swear to god, when Gmod has more entertaining gunplay, you need to fix your game.

  2. All of this depends at the rank you are playing in you can win a round with "throw" operators in silver. if you are in radiant and dont play smokes on ascent you put yourself at a huge disadvantage . All of it is rank dependent you and you can have a lot of fun playing r6 or valorant if you are in the rank you deserve with your play style.

  3. Val gunplay is super annoying, you fire more than 3 bullets at a time and your recoil is out of control. Rainbow is more diverse having breakable surfaces and changing objectives making you use your brain instead of relying on your gunplay to win. At the end of the day Val just boils down to gunplay. I had just started to play rainbow a couple of weeks ago and I’ve found the game to be much more fun and have had been able to climb to gold. In Val my game crashed during a comp game and I got banned for a month and my rank reset. Fun

  7. I played seige on ps4/5 😬. Ive had a pc but never people to play with… until now. I play val all the time (sometimes overwatch :/) . Seige has lost its appeal tbh. I dont enjoy val as much as i want to be better at it then my friends. As much as it pains me, i do love overwatch still. Its still fun to play.

  8. My only argument for the utility argument is that I specifically remember a lot of the OG day 1 community came to siege because the 1 shot headshot was seen as an aim crutch, and the utility was more important than aim. That is shown very well in pro play with players like Supr who are not known for their aim but help teams immensely with their gigantic brain. However, that never translated to ranked where the difference even in plat is huge between good aimers and those who can't aim.

  9. i like the vid, most things are on point but i disagree with the valorant vs r6 degree vs game analogy.
The difference is time put in /age of the game . R6 was released in 2015. many more years of bs to learn.
in 2025 or whenever the respective age of valorant will be valorant will have just as much "mandatory" line ups.

  10. Valorant is supposed to be an fps. The entire definition of that kind of game is gunfighting and weapons. Valorant went around that, and coming from a large variety of games where hipfire is good or terrible, I can say that gunfights are absolutely painful. They did not make the fundamental part of an fps enjoyable. There is no reason that my shots should be going 6 feet right of my target when my aim is spot on. Everything else about the game is great, but gunfights just don’t work the way they should.

  11. The thing about valorant for me is that the gunplay is just soooo damn BAD. I dont know why, but it just feels horrible and getting a hs kill on a spray doesnt feel good but just "yeah that happened". I can control the weapons, i played quite alot, but its just never feels like actual fun. And no, while i dont really like the 3rd person shooter style, csgo just feels so much better to play so it cant be that. Sieges gunplay is just the best on the market and thats why i keep coming back.

  12. I didn't really stuck to valorant same as I do with seige,it's just feels like just another shooter just a bit different, siege on the other hand keeps me on my fucking toes the whole match cause some mf may break a wall with his shotgun and yeet a c4 at my head

  13. I hate on Valorant just bcs I've hated on LoL for so long that it has become a part of my gaming persona lol…plus the "shady" kernel based anticheat software pushed me off completely to even give it a try

  14. I got into Siege around Neon Dawn with my friends back when the game wasn't as complex, yet it still felt like a tremendous task to get good. Even today, I have a couple maps where I dunno the callouts and some bags of tricks. All this while I have this genuine idiot with 60IQ who's somehow in plat, really good at the game, and he puts me and my friends down who wanna enjoy it.

I've never really played Ranked in Siege. Lagged out three times and decided I was never gonna get a placement. Quick match is my only gamemode, and now those same friends constantly want me to play ranked with them because – although I don't wanna toot my own horn – they think I'm the best out of all of us.

Siege is a mountain to get through. No game has had this kind of Dunning Kreuger effect kinda thing before.
