They're going for <$700. These retailers don't want to get their shit together. Guess I'm buying one at Stock X. Retailers really dropped the ball again. I'm done! Next generation I guess I'm buying a bot and hacking it myself.
Best thing to do is check walmart, walmart seems to get restocks each Friday. Thats how I picked up my mario edition switch JUST as they were putting them out, and then at another walmart I came across the one and only series x sitting in the glass. I got it. So it seems like Friday ams around 11 is a good time

Yeah they sellout in seconds because of bots, the companies need to do better, NextGen is a shitshow, wallets speak people stop buying NextGen consoles at this point in time show Microsoft and Sony that they need to do a better job at dealing with these f*cking scalpers and bots. They need to come up with a security method for dealing with the scalpers, and hopefully the UK government will pass that law to ban the sale to scalpers as well as criminalizing the bot software!

This online only bullshit is what fueled the scalpers in the first place. Do in-store pickups only. If a merchant or stock handler pockets the product, the police call that stealing and it should be dealt with accordingly, but the online only shit is just an unfathomably stupid method. You'd think highly educated and we'll informed company managements would make smarter moves.
I've been playing console games for 40 yrs. This is the absolute worst role out of new consoles ever! No games or consoles anywhere after 3 months! WTF! Why did they even release a new system?
Local scalpers have dropped to under $700 which is easier to swallow than $1000+. Just look on Facebook marketplace.
