Dead Space 3: Awakened. After killing the Brethren Moon, you eventually learn that killing it has awakened the rest of its kind, and when you get back to Earth, you see them attacking the planet. But now that Dead Space is cancelled, we’ll never get a resolution. And it’s especially painful since there’s a subplot in the spin-offs and DLC of Lexine Murdoch, who is somehow immune to the Marker signals, and they were clearly preparing her for something big in the future. But now we’ll never know.
