  1. I've been gaming for 40 years so probably Mario Bros overall. I bought Super Mario Bros 1 on release day in 1985 and SNES Mario World bundle on day 1 in 1991 and never really stopped lol.

  2. Dying Light. I loved the base story and the Following and I was always terrified when the sun went down even after I beat both stories. Dying Light was actually the first game that I ever completed to 100% and to this very day it's still the only game I've had enough fun with to complete even once but I've actually completed the game like 3 times.

  3. No one mentioned Destiny? A game with such a long journey? I spent 580 hours on it and i was the one who played the least amount of time among my friends. One of the has 1800. It wasn't particularly an amazing game, but it was a love hate relationship, you accepted it's flaws and loved all the good things about it. We spent days in raids…jesus…
Second place, even if I don't like it, minecraft. Played it since release on and off, over multiple accounts. Actually never finished it…on pc i have 170 hours, but thats only from a year…
Third place, cyberpunk 2077…explored out of bound and loved to climb up buildings…i mean a LOT! Max Level and 50% of the map completed… it has its problems, but i personally enjoyed it. (Okey i played on pc).

  6. SimCity, Robocraft, and Minecraft.

Now I play Roblox, Cities Skylines, Starbound, Dragonball FighterZ and Crush Crush.
    Don’t ask about Crush Crush.
Edit: I forgot I played a shit ton of terraria on Xbox 360 and Forza Horizon 2. Good stuff.

  7. Minecraft. My brother introduced me into it, i played since at least 1.2.5, i remember that version coming out. I played it for hours and hours. I stopped for a few years and now i encountered the new versions, i can say they are just amazing, back then i thought 1.7.4 was the best ever mod wise and content too.

I did play apex legends for like 8+hrs a day for a few months on holidays, i loved it.

Skyrim was a good one too, once i even statted reading all the books i could, i didnt know i could buy houses so i ended up with most my inventory full of books on my first run. When i stopped playing that run i threw all items from my inventory, literally made a perfect circle of books around the player.
Mainly i spent time figuring out puzzles cuz i really reaally sucked at them. I even remember walking overencumbered for literally 30mins to sell dragon bones, i dont remember it being worth it at all.

  8. The original Rome: Total War. Building up custom armies of historically accurate troops and conquering your neighbors is more fun here than any iteration of Civilization. Ah, early Creative Assembly productions sure were nice…

  9. Suprizingly, Terraria. I have 400-so on my account, and around 120 on TModLoader, really great game, love it to death.

EDIT: after seeing a comment about Fire Emblem, I have a good 300-350 in FE Awakening, I love how large the game is, even with a story, and it's fairly difficult later on, depending on which difficulty you choose.

  10. When you play dota you either quit early or pour your entire life essence to it. Can't really estimate total hours cause I got 8 accounts and 7 of em are either banned or in LP.

  11. Will check tomorrow but I have been playing gta online for 33 days which translates to 792 hours online. At this point I'm just bored, does anyone have anything cool to buy or do?.

  12. A shitty mmo I started playing when I was 12 and didn't stop playing until it shut down when I was like 21? Not only did I spend way too much of my free time on it, it also had texture/polygon editing character creation system, so I spent the better part of my youth learning how to get stupidly good at that. I pulled all nighters during high school to create some of these skins.
Close, but recent second is Skyrim. I got back into bethesda games sometime before the aforementioned mmo shut down and replayed all of their games. Still have the most hours in skyrim though.

  13. Fortnite. I will admit that a lot of the community sucks and that the game has gotten a bit worse over time but, if you have friends to play with and you don’t take it too seriously, it can be a lot of fun. I have over 1000 hours on my Nintendo switch alone, and I am guessing at least 100+ hours on PC

Edit: I’m pretty sure that I actually have more time on Pokémon Heart Gold and Soul Silver if you combine them, but I cant be sure because the DSi doesn’t track play time. I have reset Soul silver multiple times, so I can’t use the in game tracker. Pokémon Heart Gold has never been reset and has 300+ hours and I have had Souls silver for longer than I have had Heart Gold.
When I was younger, I would play those games for hours at a time, even though I had already completed the game. I didn’t even know about shiny hunting or anything. I just explored the world, I probably climbed Mt.Silver over 100 times, just because I always felt like there was more to do there. I wish I could enjoy the games now in the same way that I did back then. Pokémon has always been my favorite game series, but now I always have some sort of goal like getting shinies or completing the Pokédex, the games just don’t have the same wonder as they used to.

  14. I’m sure I’ve played over 10,000 hours of Minecraft at this point. That game is addicting for a while, then you get worn out of it for a year or two.
