  2. Did you know that house benevento seems to be one off the more horror focused areas off VILLAGE and you can see this in anges disieng she also moves pretty fast imagine that on hardcore

  3. So Donna is basically the "Creepy Jeff Dunham" of RE: 8? And Donna's appearance greatly reflects the "mother hiding under a dark shroud so child will sit still for photo" of the 19th Century.

  4. If this game is gonna tie in all previous resident evil games im sure each house is gonna touch on certain themes from previous games beneviento has a revelations 2 vibes her doll reminds me of the. t phobos revenants that moved all contorted and puppet like

  5. Angie and Donna are said to be also inspired by 19th century photographs of babies and their mothers underneath a veil or blanket. It's also interesting that Pinocchio maybe an inspiration as well, as both are Italian. I also think the enemies in Beneviento may harken back to Resident Evil 3.5 samples of those imp/ghoul like things that swarmed Leon.

  6. So I’m torn on the doll as I can’t make up my mind if it’s super cute or the most terrifying thing I’ve seen in gaming (I’ve seen far worse in real life, and no I’m not joking)

Taking a closer look at the doll you can actually see it’s not a doll there is something inside the empty porcelain head of the doll so ied guess the doll is just a shell that whatever it really is lives inside.

  7. Her design seems to be partially based on1900s pictures of babies with their mothers hidden in the background. The mother or hired woman at the photography studio had to put a cloth or a blanket over herself while holding the baby, so it wouldn't move too much while the baby's solo picture was being taken. Also her last name Beneviento is a reference to the Italian legend of the Witches of Benevento.

  8. If Donna was controlling angie I think she wouldn’t actually be evil in the beginning or try to attack you Angie would most likely say something about how you can get out of this place and try to gain your trust meanwhile she’s actually evil acting kind off like baby from fnaf sister location leading you into rooms full of puppets that can attack you a fun idea for defeating puppets is cutting their strings maybe if you cut their strings Donna can’t control them any more if they were porcelain it would definitely be like LN2 in the school I think that if this were true Angie and Donna would have a special relationship like maybe the soul of her sister or daughter is inside angie that could be why she wears the black veil as for the environment I think the house would twist and turn in literal seconds the main hall could act like a lobby where you have to collect keys from one hallway to go to the next luigis mansion style every time you return there something would be broken like the chandelier falling down almost crashing on you now If you have looked up you could see it’s actually one of the puppets breaking the cord or at the endoniemen you defeat Donna and Angie the fireplace would start to burn the house down you walk away as you hear the screams of Donna going through the burning building with an explosion going of in the distance the head of Angie falls next to you you go on to the next leader but hey that’s just a theory a resident evil theory

  9. I see a lot of hate for these awesome characters, just ignore those haters, they are stuck forever in the boring and ugly world called Pixel-Playstation1 Resident Evil 2 and 3 (worst games of all time) Have fun with being stuck in those horrid ages, I'm gonna enjoy Resident Evil Village and laugh at your tears at the same time.

  10. House Beneviento will be the creepiest part of the game, no doubt about it in my mind. Just look at Donna herself, disregard Angie for a moment. She just sits there shrouded in silence and darkness, and all we see are her pale, bony hands. This section will probably be reminiscent of the guest house in RE7 like some people are speculating. It reminds me of that old Tales From the Crypt intro from the 90s. Also cant wait for House Moreau! Curious if there will be more fodder enemies like mermen or if it's werewolves in the reservoir as well.

  11. I think House Beneviento is gonna be the creepiest part of the game.

It’s been stated that everybody who entered the house never makes it out, not even the other three lords are willing to enter
