i thought u were gonna talk about irelia as well…. as well as his recent years. currently he is truly back in form. 2.5k kills in lck… he's proved himself again(not like he had anything to prove to begin with) in spring 2022. he is leaving behind another record that is unlikely to break in a long time with 15-0 in lck(still going). bruh imagine setting a record and being around to break it yourself 7 f'ing years later. he keeps going and going. only man whose managed to keep up with the game even after 9 years since he started as a pro in 2013. An immortal legacy in the world of e-sports itself. faker and t1 on there way to 10th lck title. legends say he will keep refusing to use a skin even a 100 years later and the majin boo zac skin looks sick.

Not starting dcap first item i dont think is something that needed to be learnt, i started the game and read every item and automatically categorized deathcap as a late game item (after i understood how ap worked)
When faker played kaisa mid, her playrate went from under 1% to like 8% or something.

This video is exactly the kind of thing I’ve been looking for! I just became interested in esports this past year, and announcers reference this kind of thing, but the community just seems to assume that everyone knows the history. I want to learn more about the mythology of the early greats (like how there are probably literally hundreds of videos about Bill Russel and Wilt Chamberlain that I could show to someone interested in learning about NBA history)! Please make more videos like this, and if anyone can point me towards other videos like this I would greatly appreciate it.
I don't think that someone comparable to Faker exists in regular sports, there is no undisputed GOAT in sports, the discussion is very much alive, with him it's pretty much a consensus

I knew of Faker before I even knew what kind of game League of Legends was. For me, Faker is synonymous with League of Legends.
i think the comment of "real sports to esports" was not needed tbh. at pro level play for sports these guys are athletes just in a different way. they have the same reaction times of "real sports" and some of the most insane hand eye coordination to exist. along with having the same mental capacity under pressure. i think its failed to be noted that esport level players are not playing the game anymore. its is their career and their life at that point just like "real sports" many pro have all said it many times, they don't have the choice to play for fun anymore its not a game its their job. weather people like it or not that's a given fact. pros that play basket ball are not playing the game because its a game, they are playing because its their job. as much as people dont like it or refuse to see it, esports pros are extremely good at what they do and should have the same respect as "real sports"
