In today’s very special episode I share what it was like to experience video game movies for the first time as an adult who had no idea they were like that. I watched Monster Hunter, Resident Evil, and Mortal Kombat! Which one do you think I liked the most?

  1. SILENT HILL (not revelations) is THE BEST video game movie by far. It has the spirit of the games, the atmosphere, music, etc and feels faithful to the source. Give it a shot!

  2. imo the first Silent Hill movie is a decent standalone horror film, even if it takes a big fat doodoo on Silent Hill lore. The second/sequel Silent Hill movie is horrifically bad, so avoid that one.

  3. Silent Hill. So bad. The most memorable experience seeing it in the theater was everyone bursting out laughing at the final scene when the camera slow pans over to a random bush and cuts to black… wtf

  4. You guys should watch the CG Resident evil movies, those are cannon and they aren't that bad, they're certainly better than the Bad Paul Anderson ones.

  5. Is kind of backwards and flipped around but Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World is good. And you can justify it as a video game movie because the movie had a game made for it and the game itself was great.

  6. Most of these movies don't even follow the ideas of the games. Just look at the awful Resident Evil movies. They are cash grabs. And for some reason they tend to adapt stuff that are not exactly known for their great stories like Hitman or fighting games most of the time.
