Boycott Genshin is currently trending on Twitter. As some were constructive, most of them were absolute jokes. People are calling out Mihoyo for being racist due to the hilichurls being based off of indigenous people. Just right after the Rosaria banner and Childe banner release, news of people trying to cancel or boycott Genshin Impact immediately went trending.

I saw this boycott thing on twitter and you literally made a video about what I wanted to say in my mind. I completely understand why they thought about it but they don't really have good claims to back up with some of their statements. Good video and keep up the good work!
In my opinion, I do feel like the Hilichurl mocking indigenous people is because people are just slightly misinformed. I see the problem, but many other games do the same things with creatures like Orc’s. I feel like it was just an inspiration. As for Ulfr and Flora, in the Beta Test, Flora did indeed have an adult model. I do believe they changed her model and had neglected to change Ulfr’s text, or they had completely forgotten about him because he isn’t a prominent person you’ll be talking to, while for Flora, you’ll be seeing her a lot, maybe even buying her Flowers. I have never seen a second Flora nor even heard of a “ Miss Flora “ so I don’t know much about where that came from.
I don’t think MHY are trying to paint the Hilichurl’s as an evildoer or devilish creatures that must perish. I strongly believe they decided to follow the Abyss Order instead of becoming friends with the humans because the Abyss Order is able to speak Hilichurlian, and since the Abyss Order can speak the language of Hilichurls, they put their trust in them a lot more.
This is just my opinion.

And the hilichurl dance reference is also silly. It's a reference. If they don't use the tribesmen for reference, they'll use another group's dance for reference. Simple as that. It's a reference. Also they aren't really low intelligent. They have houses, weapons, languages and dances. Just because they aren't as advanced doesn't mean they are low intelligence.
Snezhnaya is far more advanced than everyone else. Does that make everyone else low intelligence? Technology is simply relative. In-game descriptions are based off of the perspective of the humans. Yes to the in-world humans, they are primitive. But Mihoyo purposely included Ella Musk to give us a different perspective. That they aren't villains and aren't dumb.
Also idol fanatics exist IRL! We have thousands of middle aged man internet stalking teenage idols! These people must never heard of Kpop and Jpop. As you said it was portrayed negatively in game referencing the fanatics in real life. Please only pay attention to the security concern mihoyo.

For the black characters part, I’m tellin you, the people who call out “problems” are the ones who started bringing up “the problem” and to begin with, it might not have been said problem in the first place. Also there is another region mihoyo had as a teaser vid about the rest of the game, and there is a black loli character in a (what seems to be) volcanic area. so, heh, let’s see what those people with their assumptions bag have to say about racism ideas when that comes
