You can use whatever you want. This is just my reason behind telling people Deathmatch and not recommending Blackcliff Pole to anyone.

I’m going deathmatch cause I already have 100+% crit dmg on artifacts and xiao plus Deathmatch will give AT LEAST 50% crit rate because of the little bit of crit rate I already have on my artifacts
Imagine using blackcliff pole and slot 5 artifact with crit dmg, free 120% crit dmg +50% default crit dmg = 170% + some crit dmg from sub = Easy 200% crit dmg. Now Imagine having artifacts with minimum 8% crit rate on each piece = 40% crit rate +25% base crit rate = 65% crit rate. And that Is It you only roll Low on artifacts, some Ppl have artifacts with 15% crit rate on It. Very late game the crit rate on deathmatch Is a waste, also base atk Is lower. Batter to go 65-70% rate and 200% dmg. Good luck going for 200%+ dmg with Deathmatch.

Blackcliff is the best f2p option, no one would choose blackcliff over deathmatch if f2p didn't exist. The video is kinda pointless.

I'm sticking with blackcliff since I have 61% crit rate and 175% crit dmg,running deathmatch won't compliment my stats since 61% is more than enough so if I run blackcliff I'll get 61% crit rate and 230% crit dmg which is nice it's all about the situation AND I'm not disagreeing with the video at all I'm just saying that use the weapon that will benefit your stats the most (I'm also running a crit dmg helm I just got lucky at artifacts lmao)
I heard C0 Xiao main source of dmg is his plunge atk so I don't think that the passive of starglitter will be that useful.
i have my xiao artifacts on xianling and i got 30% crit rate on her and xiao gets crit rate with ascention so at level 90 my xiao will have about 50% crit rate. If i use deathmatch (lvl 90) my crit rate will be on 90%. My Crit Damage is on 156% and with blackcliff (lvl 90) it woild be on 211%. Now i have to decide wether i wanna have 90 % crit rate and 165% crit damage or 50% crit rate and 211% crit damage.
I bought blackcliff, i run crit dmg headpiece with amazing crit rate rolls. 60% crit rate 220% crit dmg, i say issa win

Agree, the headpiece %'s make Deathmatch more valuable in the Crit rate stat vs Blackcliff's Crit dmg stat
Those percentages and the bonus were EXACTLY the reason why I went Deathmatch! You simply do not need crit rate on the headpiece anymore and you already have the balance without substats, so you "need" nothing and everything is a bonus.
The lower base attack will only be significant when the level cap has been raised drastically, for now it makes absolutely no significant difference because of the passive.
Idk, i wouldn't spend 10 dollars for a waepaon while i can use one that is extremely good too and also can get a 5 star one without spending any money
Btw at max level 90 xiao will have 24% crit rate. Just saying to take into consideration

Xaio got %25 crt rate , deathmatch has like %35 crt rate u already got like %60 crt rate , it ill be force u to get crt dmg over crt rate but with blackcliff got 55% crt dmg it makes the build so flexible

Dragons bane gives EM. Swirl scales with EM. Possible that its good for xiao.
Deathmatch for me. Imo its easier to upgrade than blackcliff. I dont mind spending 10$/40 days for bp for the next 4 months to max out DM, since u get so much other good shits from bp not only weapon, one of the best value in game if u are low spender. Imagine how much starglitter needed to buy 5x BC, i would rather use them for summons and builds up the pity.
If really have a good artifact with a good crit rate like 40% you don't need deathmatch weapon because xiao give a crit rate ascension bonus
