  1. Pay attention!!!! Some monitors that are >120 hz are having issues with the EDID. This is the info programed into the monitor itself. It is used to "shake hands" with a corresponding device….such as a PS5. So when you plug in the monitor it's basically says hey how are you doing, I can do 120hz can you? The PS5 says why yes I can. It's that simple. The EDID is not doing this with certain monitors. There is a device called HD Fury that can reprogram the monitor at fault. Look it up. I hope this helps.

  2. Oh btw the monitors that domt support 120 fps with hdmi is because the port isn't 2.1, its 2.0. So the most expensive monitors that dont provide the 120 fps is because the 2.1 port is pretty new

  3. QUESTION: I have a 144hz Asus monitor and it looks like it’s running at 120fps but it’s capped at 60. Do you think if I get a display port to an hdmi cable it will work ? If yes then what kind of cable u suggest?

  4. I have a monitor that runs 144hz through hdmi, I know this because I have a pc and it tells me my refresh rate but for some reason the option still doesn’t show up for me, tried a few different hdmis as well so idk what the problem is
