Based on my analysis, Ganyu's primary kit is to be a dps. Her charged attacks are insane and can deal a hug amount of damage. However, Tectone utilizes her as a support character not because her kit says to be a support but rather the practicality of a gameplay. Using her charged shots often takes a lot of time and can sometimes be interrupted. Being a dps could mean more risk, especially if you opt for melt procurations. However, utilizing her kit to be placed in a support role also is outstanding since she can be a semi-dps in your team comp while dealing huge damage even when she isn't present. Either ways, it all depends on once playstyle. If you are willing to risk, go for dps. But if not, let her be a support which is a safer play too.

@Tectone Can you test a C4 dionna team comp with ganyu to make a ganyu dps team? Dionna's ult at C4 gives aimed shots a 60% decrease in charge time. Pairing that with ganyu could make dps ganyu possible. If you see this can you please test this????
