The Genesis Collection Event has such awesome stuff on offer, but when it came to the cosmetics, I was less than happy about forking out the money for an heirloom. Here’s why…

  1. that bangalore skin is definitely a reference to when luke skywalker fought dinosaurs with brendan fraser at a luncheon when they needed to stop sean connery from making an album with sean combs to try and hypnotize the frogs to start morphing into a giant falcon that they try to escape earth with so they can start a new world with a new government that uses grains of sand as currency

  2. Reference does actually matter a lot. If you saw a man passed out on the floor, your initial thought might be that he’s lazy or makes poor choices. But in reality he worked really hard on something for the past couple days, and it required him to get little to no sleep. Knowing this, your opinion of the man on the floor has greatly changed. When you see a skin in apex, and you understand the reference, it no longer becomes a matter of “is it flashy?” Because if you see the skin and recognize the reference, the skin will give you a feeling of importance that other skins may not give you. You’re totally allowed to not like them, but the stories behind things are important, and they shouldn’t be discarded.
