  1. I prefered ps2 over xbox. That changed when the 360 came out. It was the first next gen console at the time and they were killing it with halo, gears of war, forza, crackdown and fable. All my friends came to xbox and soon we were playing and competing for achievements.
When xbox one came out I still preferred to play multiplats on xbox despite owning a ps4 for those reasons.
When the ps4 pro came out I started to play more games on it as the gap was huge, but then the one x came and took over. The enhanced older games was the icing on the cake.
Now current gen is here and I got series X and a few weeks later my friend managed to secure a ps5 for me. I still prefer xbox even if a particular game temporarily runs a tiny bit better on the ps5. They are basically running games more or less even at this point. Some games ps5 has the advantage in some modes, some games xbox runs better in some modes. The difference is minor though either way. Also since the X has a lot more power to tap into all those games could potentially be patched to look and run better in the future. I also feel like we will start seeing the x pull ahead
That said the ps5 is and will continue to be awesome.

  2. Don't forget about the fact that you can game share Game Pass with another family member or friend. That's huge. I have SX and I'm sharing GP with son on his Xbox one. 2 for 1, you can't beat it.

  3. As it is now I don’t have an issue with this. PlayStation unlike with the ps4 has many issues that could easily get someone to just get an Xbox instead. They need to improve on many things here are a few:
    1. Returning to 60 dollar games
    2. More variety less linear single player more mutiplayer rpgs etc…
    3. No more bull crap firmware updates give us VRR and 8k support NOW it’s already 2021 and it’s not available.
    4. Fix the UI and make it more user friendly like Xbox (actually show what your display has available like on Xbox besides putting dumb stuff like “automatic”)
    5. Ps1 ps2 backwards compatibility as well as improving ps4 backwards compatibility to be more like Xbox’s

  4. I could never own a PlayStation for more than one reasons but, I'll give one Sony is forcing people to buy their expensive TVs by not letting their consoles support 1440p. Plus the prices of their games etc. So, there I gave two reasons.

  5. OG Xbox and Xbox 360 had amazing exclusives yes, unlike the Xbox One.
But no hate against Playstation 3 and 4, amazing consoles, but i am mostly Xbox/PC gamer first and foremost.

  6. I’m with you on this. I’ve owned both consoles since the PS1 and OG Xbox. I love both, but prefer the Xbox to PS. Like the achievement system and just the overall look and feel of Xbox , to ME, is better, or at least better for ME. The addition of Gamepass Ultimate really puts it over the top for me. I don’t even carry a PS plus Subscription anymore. I’ll buy a little bit of time when a exclusive drops, but otherwise, I never play it.

  7. gamepass is a revolution in gaming.. I actually discovered star wars jedi fallen order through gamepass which is a game that I would probably have not spent money buying it separately.. jedi fallen order is actually awesome and a total hidden gem and there are plenty more quality games on gamepass.. definitely excellent value for money ..

  8. Been a PlayStation guy through all generations , had an OG Xbox for a while to play the halos then sold it , got the 360 when halo 3 came out and then went back to ps3 in 2011 and then ps4 in 2015 , but something changed towards the end of the ps4 lifecycle I kept getting disappointed by the first part exclusives on ps4 , it honestly just got boring , I wasn’t excited about these big first party single player games anymore like TLOU2 and tshushima , although I played them , I forced myself to finish TLOU2 and then never played more than 4 hours of ghost , I found myself wanting to play warzone more (with my sons) and retro game , felt strong about going with the series S Mainly because of game pass , went ahead and pulled the trigger . I can honestly say I’m excited about gaming again with the series S , more excited than I have been in years …

  9. XSX Is the better executed , well thought out value imo. It saves alot of cash In times where money Is tight.
PS5 has made a giant leap with It's UI and controller , even though I still prefer Elite II over that as well.
Games I'm looking the most forward to = Elden Ring , Age Of Empires IV , S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 , Perfect Dark , Diablo IV.

  10. @1:10 how did it change towards the end of the generation ? They still gave quality games like days gone, death stranding, ghost of Tsushima and Last of us part 2 !!! All these games where towards the end of the PS4 generation.
