Nickmercs gets massive respect from me, working so hard and consistently to become a better Apex Legends player, leaving behind material gains to chase a bigger vision. He’s now hit that, and will be competing in the ALGS with Snip3Down and yaboydeeds, which will make for a very exciting showcase of their skill and teamwork. This video breaks down 3 mistakes players make, that Nick helps expose through his gameplay. He takes some habits that are really powerful and showcases how unlikely they are to be seen in your normal games, helping us to improve by adding them to our gameplay in Apex Legends! I hope you enjoy, yall!

  1. Love the point about playing “your game” and not trying to mimic someone else. It’s a very undervalued argument that I think 90% of people can find more success by just figuring out what they can do best and sticking with it, instead of trying to do all the flashy stuff sometimes the simplest things can be more valuable and beneficial.

  2. I don’t think nickmercs is that good, even hitting pred, but as man I respect him because he hits back and doesn’t do apology vids and tweets as far as I know

  3. Nick has that winning mentality and wants to grind out the hard times and not look for an easy way out. Thats what he did until he hit pred on his own, then only after that he started playing with other apex pros

  4. Would really love to see this team back now that they're all probably a lot better, to see how they'd do together in these pred lobbies compared to before. I remember as a team they were hardstuck 10k master and only just hit pred with 10,100 rp as there weren't enough people in pred yet, so it was no surprise that they dropped back to master shortly after this game and were stuck there again. That was until Nick pretty much left this team and went to play with better players which made holding pred a lot easier for him. That felt bittersweet but props to him for doing what he said he'd do, make it to pred.

  5. Hey, Raynday could you do more vids on ALGS Pro LEague. Like weekly updates on where teams are landing, who is performing well, player of the week that sort of commentary. I think if you did after tourney thoughts people would tune in.

  6. The thing is let’s be honest he got carried to pred then asks his friends to still play with him to keep it but what’s annoying he acts like he perfect at the game but he gets carried I watched his stream for hole of 5 matches all I saw was like 2 kills every time like what the fuk he’s not even good 😂

  7. Besides the "Que pasá" intro Who the hell watches nick? he has NO movement, no types of apex skill , and hes on dezine's back like a backpack. Bruh ! they're playing offensive legends like winnies.

  8. Nick is entertaining as hell but after this they lost pred and from that point forward he started playing with pros. Not to discredit his climb tho. He's much better than when he first started

  9. The complaints about leaving warzone is kind of wild because I swear warzone content creators and streamers come out of a factory. It's like getting mad about a guy leaving a soul crushing office job to go work on a passion project that can pay off big. Just let the guy play the game he actually enjoys.

  10. Note that this is all made possible by having teammates with good communication. Both listening well, as well as speaking well. Priority #1 is that you find teammates with similar goals in mind. Great breakdown!

  11. I don’t watch Nick, but I respect him, not because he’s good at games, but his confidence and his bluntness to defend himself and not give a damn of what someone else thinks.

  12. Didn’t like him early on. Now. 100% alpha. Money stacker. He also may not be the best “apex” guy but he can hit shots. Dudes crushing life. Hard to hate someone that “swaggy” or confident.

  13. Hey raynday how do you make your commentary videos? I'm tryna make live commentary on a how to igl video I did a while back by screen recording my laptop but the mic's too loud and the actual video audio's too quiet and I'm not sure what to do. Would appreciate any advice on how you make your videos
