  1. I believe the game is going to be good and I’m going to enjoy it. My friend and I are locked into getting it. I got to try it on insider I like what I experienced and it was pretty much what I’d thought it’d be.

I don’t feel the comparison to destiny and avengers is reasonable. From what I’ve seen, and experienced, I get more borderlands, Diablo, path of exile vibes which for me is a great thing I love those games and still grind them from time to time. It’s not going to revolutionize the genre it’s combining imo the best parts of looters now and old.

  2. Avengers and Outriders have different studios behind them. And from what i've heard/read People can Fly(Outriders) has devs from Gears of War 1-3 which gets me much more hyped. As long as the combat feels good I got really high hopes for Outriders. Love the references to Gears, Remnant, and D2. All are games i've played a lot!

  3. 4 classes, 8 subclasses for each class, huge skill tree, mixing and matching legendary mods into weapons, upgrading any weapon to any rarity, AND Changing the archetype of the weapon you have. VERY very ambitious indeed.

  4. Anthem: hyped up (was a disappointment)
Warframe: hypes up everything (everything is a disappointment)
Cyberpunk: hyped up (was a disappointment)

Please don't hype Outriders. I feel that if people hype it up we'll sit with yet another disappointment of a game. Also, Square Enix ain't bad. I remember they did Just Cause 2 (dunno if they did 3 and 4) but it was a fun open world game with the biggest map I've ever seen in my life (until Assassin's Creed: Origins came out). They also make the Tomb Raider games which is always a huge hit and some of my favs. But hey, CDPR was also great until they released Cripplepunk 2077 (cause the game was crippled from all the bugs), but let's hope Square Enix doesn't disappoint and maybe even give us something that's better than what they're showing us.

  9. I think even if outsiders isn't a commercial hit it will be positively recieved. I believe when it comes to looters shooters this games is doing it right.

1: The devs are showing gameplay. No prerendered BS, no CGI cut scenes, now showing the "best" parts of the game. You can find several videos of up to 2hr gameplay on YouTube.

2: It isn't a live service, and that means something I don't think most people think about. The game doesn't need to try to nickel and dime your gameplay. Grind only solved by exp boosters, no loot boxes, no padding need to keep you playing. Games like this treats the players time fairly, and treats our purchase with respect.

3: The game is going loot right. End game gears is probably the best I have seen in a looters shooter in awhile. You get to keep your mods, your gear can level up in power and Rarity. The gear has large impacts on gameplay.

4: Gameplay looks intense and I welcome that. Not difficult but intense, slogging through missions in other games feels like going through the motions. This feels like players are making engaging decisions in the moment.

5: "Seems" Stable after watching some videos of people playing I haven't heard anyone say anything about crashes, bugs, glitches, frame rate etc. With all the raw gameplay we got it looks like the we won't have to expect a huge day one patch.

I never doubt anyone who is worried about a game. But I think if someone doesn't like this game it's because it isn't there cup of tea. Not because it has aggressive monetization, or technically broken, or has a bad game play loop, or horrible loot.

  10. I don't feel like this game is ambitious at all. I feel like the Devs know what they want to create and set realistic limits on themselves. I'm just hoping they don't shoot themselves in the foot by saying its a complete package and its a short game. Gamers consume content at an unbelievable fast rate. To me I find it strange that there is barely any marketing. Close to none. Its also weird the Devs share no interest in having a future for this game. It feels like they want to release it and that's it.

  11. Knowing that there will be millions of people who will want to play this day 1, I think I’ll wait just in case we have another CP2077/Anthem/Avengers-type disaster on our hands.
