Garret here, today i am discussing why respawn do not release OG / New recolours and how their mindset is changed and we are getting new skins added. Could this be the beginning of the end of the drought?

There is a really nice Mirage recolor for the Angel City Hustler skin I believe, and it makes the jacket look more like a bomber jacket with a pin up girl on the back. The skin was leaked forever ago and looks so good, but I have never once seen it actually appear in the store, and at this point I don't think it ever will.

Imagine for a moment when apex came out that it was the same pricing as titanfall 2 for skins. It’s sickening watching twitch streamers play apex when if they all played tf2 instead we might actually get tf3
Plot twist maybe their waiting for new recolors to let new coming players have legend tokens to craft them so they won't in the future have to do another cycle of old recolors because people a long time ago wanted og colors skins etc. To come back for new players
I just hope they dont sell or resell old og and rare skins like the season 2 bloodhound Centurion skin that is a rare and exspensive skin (if you sell your account with the skin) and I just dont want to loose that feeling of feeling f having a rare skin that is coveted like recon armor in halo. Most likely they will to make money and when that happens respawn will loose my respect all together.

So basically they said making a recolor takes the same amount of effort as making an original skin. That’s the lamest excuse they could’ve come up with. If little baby Respawn has that much trouble making skins, why don’t they ask their community to make some skins for them, cuz they can clearly make up better concept skins than Respawn.
Edit: Also, the Respawn dev never really answers the question. They already have recolored skins in the game files which they could release, but they don’t. They just go on to say how much of their precious time they need to put a lot of “care” into their original skins.
I dont get it. They make probably 50mil dollar from 1 collection event alone and lack ressources to hire 1 more fucking employ making idk 150k a year? You kidding me!?
