I only die to headshots from a bush camper. So I’ve just stopped bringing in anything but an sks to deal with scavs, and just looting what I can fit in my container. I’m sick of doing all the work for campers

I have 1500+ Raids this wipe. 2 or 3 stomach deaths. You do you buddy. But I appreciate you getting people not to use Hex/Slicks. LMAO you made this wipe even easier. Thanks

idk just seems like tryin to stop people from wearing those armors for no real reason. since ive gotten slicks, my survival rate has skyrocketed. just from personal usage i can say they are fantastic armors still. alot of people dont immediately see what armor you have and most are pre programmed from other games to go for chest shots mostly. sure people like pestily veritas and deadlyslob can recognize enemy weakness at a quick glance and adjust but the majority of players go for chest or head immediately and after an initial burst realize its not working and adjust
Your argument has some merit, but it is far more opinion based than you make it out to be. As others have said, chest and head are hit far more often than stomach as this is where players are aiming for. You also exaggerate the STK against stomach to try and reinforce your opinion-based point. I'm not saying there's not an element of truth behind what you're saying, because the reality is that, yes, flesh meta is better than it used to be now, but it's not as paramount as you make it out to be.
In my experience so far i get shot in the stomach very rarely. My head thorax and arms get shot the most often by far.
Scavs almost never shoot your stomach and players dont aim that low unless they use rip and are actually aiming lower for legs. I know my experience is anecdotal but i know for a fact that my stomach has only been blacked out twice this entire wipe and i have played a fuck ton.i barely run scavs almost all pmc raids. I think thorax armor is still perfectly viable. Its lighter, has less ergo/speed penalties usually and is affordable. MMAC has saved my life countless times.
For me, the Gzhel is one of the worst armors in the game. Yes, it has a reasonable amount of durability. But it is very heavy and cannot be repaired. It loses far too much durability and costs far too much to repair to be worth it. In my opinion, playing a gzhel is like burning rubles. I'd rather play a Korund. In 90% of the cases it can withstand a similar amount and costs less and can easily be repaired 2 to 3 times without really losing effectiveness. Defender and Killa Armor are even better from my point of view, but as said in the video hard to get.
Also, most people aim and shoot at chest and head level. The chance of hitting the thorax is far higher than hitting the stomach. So it makes perfect sense to protect the thorax with budget armor like the MMAC. The exception is of course against Leg Meta players, but there it usually doesn't help much to protect the stomach. The damage that is delivered through the unprotected legs is simply high enough.
My experiences with this wipe have shown me that armor has become less important than the wipes before. It rarely makes a difference whether I wear level 4, 5 or 6 armor. Since the ammo either just goes through the armor anyway, or I get headshots. The armor protects me the most from scavs and a good level 4 or cheap level 5 armor is often more than enoth to win the fights. In my opinion the Korund is currently the best armor you can choose.
I like the conclusion, but testing makes no sense to me. What's the point of wearing slick and shooting the area that this slick doesn't protect? To show people that doesn't undertand body parts of tarkov the difference between having armor and not having armor?
If a % of your health is on limb arm wouldn’t that percentage change for each limb if one arm is blacked? So in your example 8% for each arm and if one is blacked shouldn’t the other arm be worth more than 8% now?
I have an argument for why this isn't completely true and it is because when you are in an engagement your enemy is probably aiming center of mass and if they are aiming for your stomach the recoil will probably go up to you chest (unless they are running the new busted af us ammo or vector or smthn) but I do also agree with some of the points made in this video.

This point about not wearing thorax only armor doesn't really make sense, since how is your enemy going to know what armor you're wearing at a moment's glance? it would be better for them to aim at your legs for guaranteed damage rather than risk whether you have thorax only armor or not. Of course, unfortunately none of this matters in the end since the hexgrid is loot only, and the slick is way too overpriced… you did still educate with explaining the whole black limb damage system, but making this point to prove that slicks and hexgrids are bad was basically pointless.

this is bullshit, anybody with rip, quakemaquer or something like that would aim ur legs. Torax and head are the only valuable parts of the body in tarkov. Keep them save and u would win most of the figths.
Tbh before I even continue the vid I can safely say they should never have been viewed as BIS. Primarily because even 3 wipes ago , the slick was only tanking a couple extra bullets and when it comes to m995 and other high pen ammos they really didn't make a difference. Then introduce rip ammo and many high flesh damage ammo types and running a level 5 is just way more viable, cheaper, and all around more efficient. Especially this wipe with the flea changes and not being able to sell them makes it even more of a waste

Killed a PMC as a scav with my tkm fmj to the stomach. Loved selling that trooper untouched on the flea for 100k
hahahah the last day one guy killed me with 5 rounds of 6A1 (M4) in the thorax, i used slick….
What abou tthe Korund… do you not recommend that. If you mentioned it in the video, i may have missed it. It does have a hit on turning speed and ergo vs Killa, and probably doesn't repair as well, but has saved my life more than a few times.
I mostly use hollowpoint Ammo because it takes 1 Shot to Blackout a limb instand demobalising the Enemy or making it harder to fire back and aim.
I love to use Ultra nosler on my vepr Hunter or lapua Magnum tac-x

I still took 11 hits while wearing a slick against a MK47 with BP and managed to kill a lvl 68 and a 64 1v2. So take that how you will. It just doesnt have stomach prot so it sucks.
id go out and say Fort and Full IOTV is some of the best armor in the game protection wise, just heavy as heck.
This video reminds me a AI Scav double tapped me on woods with a Saiga 12 shooting my legs, from like 20-30m away, wearing an Altyn and a full life Hexgrid, I was shocked at how fast I died to that double-tap of buckshots and couldnt do anything
