  2. Very helpful video, but some phrases don't feel just right. When you talk about the first teamfight with Morgana, you say she doesn't really do much and misplaces her black shield…EXCEPT she started the whole winning fight hitting a clutch Q on one of the enemy team carries making the fight instantly a 5v4. How can this be defined as "contributing not that much" to the fight? xD

  3. A lot of lower elo supports and every players obviously struggle with team fights because of how complicated and quick they are. So my question is how do I start picking out those areas in the tf and stop just seeing colors and flashing

  4. That Pyke hook looks like something I would have done, but it would have had a genuine purpose: disruption. The hook itself is brief CC and didn't do a whole lot to Zoe in this situation, but a lot of players panic when they're hit by something dangerous like a hook, especially if they didn't see it coming. In low elo it's almost guaranteed to make them sweat a little and make worse decisions. When I play Pyke I rarely try to hook obvious targets who are already out of position, because they're more likely to notice and dodge the hook but also because it usually isn't needed to make sure they die. If there's another enemy around who looks like they're posturing to do something and probably not expecting a hook, I'll throw it at them just to try to knock them off their game a little. Dunno if that's what the Pyke was thinking or if it's a good enough reason, but it's something.

  5. I got autofilled in a normal game, said "what the hell let me try Janna because she's good", enemy lulu kept shielding Zeri even if she's safe and it was funny, if Zeri didn't have her passive, those shields would be a complete waste

  6. 6:32 That shield blocked nothing important though? Akali Q wasn’t going to slow Caitlyn anyways, Leona was tunneling on Yone, Jhin R hit Cait but no one was focusing her so it really didn’t matter.

  7. the last point surprises me that it needs to be made or happens in diamond. I literally play only normals and learned quickly not to take those types of engages.

  8. This will be a bit long so ignore me if you don't care hehe.

Alright lets break this down a bit though. First off that morgana shielding yone pressing R going in? If you look closely, Hecarim could have in theory instantly R'd backwards to yone to peel him off in which case yone probably would be dead if Morg didnt press Shield on Reaction at that time. Also – he was the ally she was walking with, who else is she going to shield ? In a fight that SHE started and walked up on, he followed first – thus taking more aggro. The specific problem pointed out being that she didn't have shield LATER in the fight is a nonstarter because people would first off be confused WHY she held it that long anyway, thats a hypothetical holding an ability for something you have no idea will happen – Play for the plays that are already going on ESPECIALLY in solo queue.

Second, the lulu DID waste a bunch of abilities but please don't undermine enchanter supports and say right after that they still won in spite of her bad plays because 'hurdur enchanters easy busted'. The entire team was making bad plays and lulu of course is no exception – jinx literally was running from Vayne in that 1v2 she split herself off on. Sure we are focusing on the Lulu from a 'you are the lulu, do better' perspective but lets look at it from a general sense. Lulu presses her abilities on her adc, her adc is Running with those abilities. Whose to say that Lulu presses her abilities on Vayne, her adc still doesn't run? The problems of solo queue. Its safer to just press on her adc and see what they are feeling cause you can't control them. Lulu goes in on vayne, dies and looks likes a troll unless her adc follows.

That challenger clip you show with morgana also is not Equivalent to the first clip, as there is no 'death threat' cc on the enemy team. In the first morgana clip there is : lux q (which she used admittedly if you pay attention), hecarim ult, and the 'equivalent' akali threat. Difference is, Morgana is in a completely separate position to help her Irelia, she's with YONE on an opposite side. This is positioning issue, not misuse of abilities. Morg cant walk past their entire team to shield irelia who already got hit by lux q and engaged on by the others at this point then irelia ended up being chunked anyway. Sure the ending shield would have MAYBE saved her (probably not she was deep as fuck) but again thats a Hypothetical scenario, the YONE was making a play then and there. The challenger clip morg shield literally made NO difference, if you really look at it. The akali damage was damn near nothing, she stopped jhin ult slows on her cait that was already far away at a safe range with 80% health? Its just not equal comparisons lol. Yes the theory is good to hold it for important things of course but there is a such thing as too much holding.

I could go on but its just my opinion on a video in a sea of thousands :D. I think The Leona clip was good! Saving important cc is crucial for peeling and target picking especially when an enemy is obviously caught already with layered cc. There is a way to show these things but I just don't personally believe these clips played justice to the actual support playerbase looking to improve.

  9. Think this one might be completely wrong.

Skillcapped: Why Supports are the WORST Role at Teamfighting!
Current meta: Enchanter top laner with smite who NEVER lanes and win the game by teamfighting, because is more impactful in teamfights than a fed top laner.

It's pretty painful to see how Janna Smite is the best top laner in every elo in all applications such as op gg,u gg , lolalytics, zar, mobalitycs and so on

  10. I'm a master elo support, I just played in gold 2 with a friend and I don't plat raka but I went zhon rush to bait the vex R, and would just drop pool zhon and spam heal my entire ta back to full HP. Pretty great. I love support, and team fighting on it can be very challenge compared to my other role as a jungler. But srsly support can really carry 5v5s.

  11. if you want a support, just play yuumi, problem solved, it doesnt really matter when you heal unless they are full hp i guess. infact you could probably write a script in 5 minutes that plays yuumi better than the average gold player.
