  1. A great game is always worth having a physical copy. Also digital copies cannot be re-sold, which gives physical copies their value, which is why we (retro collectors) won't sell them.

  2. I looked away for a moment and when I looked back I immediately cooed 'kitties!' Navi and Felix should make more guest appearances

Also, I am super envious of how well organized and nicely displayed Zion's collection is

  3. Please gentlemen. Please give us thorough, in depth reviews of your collections. It’s something I’ve been dying to see and this video just scratches the surface of what I think would be a phenomenal video. All those gameboy cartridges, ds games, even the non Nintendo stuff. Some of us don’t have the money to collect this kind of stuff as much as we want to, but seeing this stuff is just a great way to enjoy a taste of it.

  4. Because so many of them are better than anything coming out today?
My switch is collecting dust but my wiiu still gets thrashed (wii games, n64, snes, gba etc)
My one x only gets used to play 360 games on it.
Only 2 new games im interested in if they ever come out is metroid 4 and botw 2

  5. News flash you guys are lucky enough to make enough money to be a retro collector. I have tried to retro collect and I was going broke. So when I see ppl with these huge collections in their background I look at like your bragging you have the ability and the budget and funds to collect. That being said when I buy modern games physically still and I fear the digital age!

  6. I just got a decent copy of
Dragon Quest V for £80 from CeX online. I am sometimes cautious about buying from CeX because sometimes they repaint boxes.
I am looking forward to playing it. I also still need to finish 6 and 7.🤔 🙂🎮
What do I considered to be retro right now is: GameCube, PS2 and
the Original Xbox. I don't consider Xbox 360 PS3 or Wii. They don't feel old enough yet.🤔🙂🎮 good video enjoyed watching it.

  7. I recently sold my childhood collection. It was out of Covid necessity, and it felt quite sad. My old Mario kart and punch out records of my kindergarten friends and I gone.

I no longer have a desire to own actual cartridges. It’s was those specific cartridges I loved

  8. I can't justify paying that amount of money or that much space on retro games. And even if you have the physical cartridge/disc, someday bit rot will claim it anyway.

What I prefer to do is buy a game, either digital or physical, then when the company stops supporting online for the console, mod the console with custom firmware, extract all the roms, and store them on hard/ss drives. That's the only way you really 'keep' a copy of the game. You don't get to enjoy the box this way all the time, but if you don't have the space anyway it's not a big deal.
