Why You Should NEVER Buy a Phantom | Valorant Discussion #Shorts

Imo the phantom shouldn’t be used solely due to the bad habits it creates in Valorant. Obviously, use whatever gun you feel best at but let me know your thoughts.

The latest Yoru buff in Valorant was honestly a pretty good one. It gives him the opportunity to perform some insane outplays, and just generally be more viable inside ranked queue. Add the buffs to the newest map Breeze and he honestly becomes an A-tier pick, when before he was hated by almost all. If you want to learn how to play Yoru, I post guides as often as I can, so hopefully, you enjoy those, I also post a lot of Yoru Outplay highlights/montages if that’s also something you are interested in. Thanks for takin the time to read/watch, enjoy the rest of your day.

  1. Great points. If you master the vandal then switch to the phantom then you can go even crazier with the faster recoil resets. I agree whenever I use the phantom I’m spraying like I’m playing COD

  2. I go between phantom and vandal from time to time. I noticed whenever i switch back to vandal from phantom, my aim gets super bad like i can't even shoot the gun properly. However when i switch back to phantom from vandal, my aim is just crazy like lasering people across the map. So i decided to choose vandal as my main rifle so if i need to use phantom occasionaly i can do well with it.

  3. For me, I usually use vandal on Attacker (because the one-tap capability), and phantom on defender (because until plat-diamond competitive, most people still do a 5 man rush, so I need phantom for the spraydown)

  4. I honestly only play with spectre and vandal. I used to play A LOT with phantom but now somehow I find really difficult to control the recoil/spray. Odin supremacy lmao

  5. I switch between both depending on my position. For example if i hold B heaven on Split in defending I buy a phantom so when 3 enemies push heaven from mid I can more easily do a spray down. If I want to peak garage B while defending I buy a Vandal because the chance of getting a clean headshot in a tight angle is higher. Its just my preference and what works best for me

  6. I prefer the vandal because it doesnt have a damage dropout and I feel more comfortable using it for long range fights +I don't want to spend a lot of time learning the spray of the phantom

  7. Woah I didn't even realize that this was the reason I was using Vandal a lot more. Since I picked it up my crosshair placement has been more accurate and I get a lot more kills regardless of what gun I use but whenever I use phantom I start to slack off by instinct.

  8. For me personally it’s the opposite. For some reason I get away with just spraying with vandal more often than I do with a phantom. Using phantom recently is helping me build better habits about tap firing and taking my time. Whatever works for you!

  9. This is so true. I used to use vandal and I was really disciplined but then I switched to Phantom and it was so easy to use. But over time I lost discipline and I wasn't hitting those heads anymore. So I switched back to the vandal to force myself to be better
