it seems like Bethesda is just publishing and machine games is actually developing it, so I doubt it'll have Bethesda's charm. I also feel like the game would be better as a linear game, so they can put more focus on the story and it'll feel much grander.

I'm curious how Indiana Jones will be. I only like Uncharted 2. Uncharted 4 is boring. You are only climbing up the mountain. I like Tomb Raider.
We've gotta have him fighting the Nazis with actual swastikas and stuff. Too many games pull their punches with that these days, even when you're fighting the bad guys. It makes no sense to me.
It probably won't be on PS4 anyway though, so it doesn't make much difference to me. I'm not quite ready to buy a next-gen console yet.
Well, the last three Tomb Raider games have a lot of open world elements, even though they are not open world games properly. They were halfway through, so to speak: the fast traveling between ares, the exploration, backtracking, skill and weapon upgrades, optional side quests, completionist tasks, collectibles, etc. You have the choice to play them going straight to the point and without deviations, or you can go 100% with them, and they really have that open world feel if you go for that. Maybe it will be like that, a semi open world game, and I'd be happy if they choose to go that way.

I really hope Short-Round ends up in the game. I would also like a Short-Round spinoff movie where he’s all grown up and he’s an adventurer like Indy. I would like Ke Huy Quan to come back and play as him, too.
I think that they should do what they are best at. The game would be good either linear or open with some linear aspects.
I wonder if it will have choices like other Bethesda games.
