World Questing in Shadowlands | Callings | Are they worth it?

I check out how the new callings work in Shadowlands and see if they’re worth doing or not.

World Quests have changed a little bit, so what does it mean for you?

  1. You are the only content creator that I have found that shows how this is done and not just tells us. Thank you for that but I still have other questions:
    1) Do these callings reward rep like the emissaries do and if not what is the best way to gain rep?
    2) Are the shadowlands factions tied to your covenant or can you only do Bastion rep on a Bastion character?
    3) Why do you think they made this change when the emissaries worked just fine?
Thank you for your work. My main goal is to get to exalted with every faction but with these Callings and covenants I am not sure if they reward any rep to be worth doing them or not.

  2. It was a good video. I wanted to know more about the WQs themselves. Like how big the kill counts or % kills needed to complete them. I only do the one kill WQs and the pre-scripted pet battles. I just cannot be bothered with killing 20 mobs or more when there is scaling in the game…

  3. It looks like a lot worse system. Legion ones were the best with auto-grouping. I didn't care if there were only 2 peeps out of 5 who did something. Shadowlands ones look like just wasting more of your time. These things should be fast and fun and completely optional.

  4. Thanks for the info 🙂 Could I ask how rep worked for callings? Do you get Maldraxxus rep for the Maldraxxus ones or is it always your own covenant no matter where the calling sends you?
