I hated the Sena wukong and sena leona bs mad was trying to do , it wasn't working in any of the games. Top was useless when not on orn , jungle struggled and mid had to 1v9 because of that.

Even though I'm an LEC fan, I am somewhat glad that bad drafting gets punished well.
Regarding the whole intro. Almost everyone understands that analysis is rarely perfect and I don't think people expect perfection. No one is criticizing analysts for picking TL in the TL vs. INTZ game even after the INTZ win. And I think, just because of connections, that analysts rank regions they are close to higher than ones they aren't. Again, that's fine and a normal bias.
But when analysts pretend NA isn't even realistically competitive to EU and then EU, admittedly 4th seed, drops the ball to almost every team regardless of region, I think that's a sign that the analysis was flawed. I think regional bias plays a large role but I also think analysis, since the vision changes, has skewed towards Fun=Good and Boring=Bad. Fun playstyle teams like C9 and G2 get the stamp of approval while boring teams like TSM and TL get the "Yeah but that wont work".
I don't think we needed to start the video just saying the same thing for the first 12 minutes.
But you also hear how TSM is doing well in scrims.. Even G2 talking about how TSM is beating them, yet you have MAD over them and LGD lol… Your whole analysis for MAD was 100% bias and still can't admit it. They look like garbage since playoffs and only took games at worlds when the other team inted into them, and you still stuck to your guns.

Just one question everyone keeps talking about C9s collapse but no one talks about how TSM and FLYQUEST refused to scrim them at all later, which meant that they had 0 practice other than TL sometimes and everyone was freaking out that OMG their gona collapse with no scrims etc, yet when it happened everyone went omg what happened it confuses me completely. Cause when those two teams said that i had already assumed ok C9s gona keep getting worse and fail completely cause well no practice means u wont win. The thing that confused me is why is that never mentioned now did TSM and FLYQUEST tell everyone not to mention it or what? cause that is how it seems to me they made a plan and it worked, this isnt hate though its a buisness and they planned better than C9 did thats all.

Game 5 Do you flex Renek mid against Sett? Try to squeeze a Rumble or some more Magic damage in up top? Also seems better into the bot lane as it gives you a little bit more back line reach. Plays into the strengths of the bot lane (even though they were already in a hole).

On the predictions/analysis rant, I hard agree with Yamato. I really don't understand the obsession league fans have with prediction or analysis or whatever, saying "Schalke would've done better than mad" is so fucking stupid, no one knows that, not even Schalke do.
In association football (soccer), another sport I follow, yes, people do make predictions but at the end of the day the analysis has to be weighted on the games that are being predicted. No one expected Bayern to batter Barcelona 8-2 so the analysis lied upon dissecting how Barça collapsed and what makes Bayern Munich so damn good. Not on weird ass variables. Any previous analysis isn't worth anything until we get to see the game with our own two eyes.
After LGD went 0-2 in the first day people got hung up on the "ig died for this" meme instead of trying to take a proper look at the games. O suspect because most people that watch Worlds don't really understand the game too much

The video is great but please fix the add issiues. i had 16 ads in the first 60 min. And on MADLions. Everyone sucked in the team except Humanoid wgo was trying so hard to carry that he was doing stupid mistakes like positioning or going too deep. Feels bad. Top and jungle were especially bad.
Malphite is always a rocksolid pick.
I also wonder if the quality of games has decreased with the introduction of new elements and map changes with Dragon Soul introduction, Double Rift herald spawn, and still being a bit unsure of what and when to prioritize them causing some questionable rotations, setups, and noticeable indecisiveness when approaching objective fights. Not saying this is the root cause either but just something I've noticed compared to old gameplay from years past generally.

MAD Lions definitely not 11th best team in world as Yamato had predicted and would challenge Group D in DRX. MAD probably was 20th best team only at 2020 worlds – only better than V3 and INTZ. I'd give edge that R7 is probably better than them even, as R7 managed to take a game from LGD. Kaiser is the 15th best Support at worlds and MAD top laner is likely 22nd top laner at worlds of the 22 teams.
Yamato what would you think in last pick about flexing renek mid vs sett and picking a counter to malphite in top ? Just try to salvage the draft even though orome had been underperforming

Getting picks wrong is understandable, getting power rankings wrong is understandable. But ranking EU's 4th seed a tier or more above NA's 1st seed is just ridiculous. There is no real analysis in that its just buying into the "NA is trash" hype. Anybody with functioning eyes could tell the level in EU the last 2 splits was nowhere near that much better than NA. To be frank EU did NOT look that great, G2 and Fnatic included. G2 and Fnatic especially, really.

About MAD and the predictions I have to ask you one thing, you said you were hoping that MAD would recognize that carzzy and humanoid were playing well and drafted around them and they didn't. Do you really think that was the main reason? Even during LEC I knew that orome was at an amateur level of play and shadow was already showing massive champ pool problems. Didnt you think that this was going to be an obvious problem coming in to worlds?
