β€”World Of Warcraft Shadowlands Descriptionβ€”

NEW WORLD
THE SHADOWLANDS
What lies beyond the world you know? The Shadowlands, resting place for every mortal soulβ€”virtuous or vileβ€”that has ever lived. Journey through planes of torment and imprisonment to those of rebirth and eternal reward.

NEW PLAYER HUB
ORIBOS, THE ETERNAL CITY
Oribos is the arrival point for all souls who enter the Shadowlands. At this crossroads, the dead are judged by the impassive Arbiter before being sent to their final destinations, and Oribos’ denizens swap gossip and animaβ€”soulstuff that serves as both power and currency.

NEW FEATURE
COVENANTS
Align yourself with one of four Covenantsβ€”mysterious sects, each with their own ambition for the Shadowlandsβ€”to restore balance to the hereafter.

You’ll gain access to your Covenant’s Sanctum, where you’ll accept unique quests, undertake a sprawling covenant campaign, and call upon your allies to embark on important missions. Youβ€˜ll also earn unique abilities based on your Covenant and class, acquire a unique mount and visual appearance, and forge bonds with powerful souls, drawing on their essence to further customize your skills.

NEW FEATURE – INFINITE DUNGEON
TORGHAST, TOWER OF THE DAMNED
Once, the Jailer kept only the most dangerous souls in the cosmos confined in this eternal prison. Now, some of Azeroth’s greatest heroes are trapped here, and you’ll need to rescue them from the Jailer’s tower before he expends their very souls.

Torghast is an endlessly replayable, ever-changing dungeon that you can challenge alone or in a group. Your runs will differ each time, but you’ll need to explore cautiously. Death comes at a terrible cost. Defeat enough of Torghast’s unpredictable challenges, and you’ll be rewarded with unique abilities and items to ensure your present survival or bolster your next run. The further you progress, the greater your likelihood of retrieving materials to craft the legendary weapons and armor that will help you restore balance to the Shadowlands.

Other secrets lie within the tower… but they’re yet to be revealed.

GAME UPDATES
LEVELED-UP LEVELING
World of Warcraft: Shadowlands will smooth out the leveling experience and better prepare new adventurers for what’s to come. Players will level up to 50 before heading to the Shadowlands (new level cap: 60).

We’ve adjusted the experience curve to make it faster than ever to prepare for the newest challenges, and each level along the way will provide more meaningful increases in progress and power. All expansion zones are getting more flexible, too; they’ll be able* to scale to you and your friends while you level to 50, so it’s easy to try a zone you’ve never played.

*You can still outlevel dungeons and crush them for transmogs or fulfillment.

GAME UPDATES
NEW CHARACTER CUSTOMIZATION
In World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, you will be able to become the hero you’re meant to be. All-new customization options for characters will be available, from varied skin tones to facial features, new tattoos, hairstyles, earrings, and more. Just visit your friendly appearance agitator in Oribos, or the local barber shop back on Azeroth. It’s time to give your main a makeover.

  1. Really falls down to preferences I guess, I agree that Ardenweald and Bastion were pretty, but IMO Revendreth is easily the top 1, and for some reason I just love Maldraxxus. Might be the same reason why I love Unholy Death Knight and Blood DK. That whole gladiatorial feel to Maldraxxus really sold it to me, and that Bloodborne-esque aesthetic in Revendreth too.

  2. Honestly peon I think this video was the worst you have ever put out. There was only constant winning at everything and you didn't do an honorable review. Even if there is not a single mention of it we could really feel this constant bashing was nothing more than to further an agenda to push people towards Ashes of creation. I'm disapointed in you. No need for this. If Ashes of creation ends up good, people will naturally be drawn to it and switch over. This expansion is nothing like any of the privious ones, putting it in the more of the same really doesn't do it honor and shows you lack the interest to keep on going with your job. You don't seem to be enjoying doing MMO review at all anymore and it show your putting alot less effort into it. Alot of people will take your comments like cash and not question it. Please make sure you do a better job next time.

  3. Surprised that managed to tank a dungeon even tho he was unfit…
The last time tanking and dungeons were interesting was TBC heroics lol.
Now you just attack everything you see as a tank, while the rest AoE them down. **taktik**.
Even on Mythics there is no challenge in grabbing mobs' attention and holding it, or even CCing. Meh.

  4. DFO funny enough one of the if not the biggest mmo in the world, but just not at all in the west.
To anyone that tries DFO though I must warn you, it has the exact same problem as nexons other games like maplestory and vindictus, which is that the first like 100+ hrs of gameplay are incredibly easy and incredibly boring and repetative and the fun engaging combat does not start until late/end game. Once you get to it, it is very fun, but it's a time investment for sure.

  5. lamb not gonna lie like what it looks like a completely different game now like still looks the same but it's like to ask now has been basically improved like tenfold that would have a coffee as always been like you know how you look like and how when they remastered RuneScape for mobile and PC RuneScape still kept the same look yeah it looks a tad bit better at the resolution looks better but it still has that type of look and feel to RuneScape as it's always been like but when I see world of Warcraft now even that you had a new expansion pack it looks like a completely different game and it's not a problem it's just like you know some people been playing world of Warcraft for like years you know I mean and yeah it will be nice for updated but not like a brand new overhaul that yeah it's just new graphics but sometimes new graphics can ruin their holiday experience you know I mean or they can take it one step to further and it's just not as spectacular as it could be but yeah if it's the first time people playing this game yeah it looks cool but for people that has been playing this game for years and has seen how it looks like I haven't I've only played that were they work on that a couple of times and yeah it's a fun game but it's just like now how looks like now it feels like a small like am again as basically made in Korea and shipped over here that's what it looks like

  6. Love the expansion so far. Feels like WoW is beginning to become WoW again and not the mobile wow trash its become the last few years. Glad to see classic rub off on the devs. Hopefully this time next expansion we can get Azeroth 2.0 with a timeskip and a whole new sort of feel to WoW to make it more like days of old. ( but like i said, we are getting there as shown with removal of AP, Azerite trash, Bad loot systems, scaling, pvp scaling and a bunch of other bad stuff they've done over the years)

Shadowlands is more of WoW but its the good parts of WoW and it makes you feel like you're playing it again, compared to what BFA did.

If you liked WoW before BFA , you'll enjoy shadowlands a fair bit.
Plus theres tonnes of players on all realms right now, as shown with their server queues and instability issues. Damn it lags sometimes.

  7. Best review I've seen. I live in China and I miss many British aspects of life. Humour is 200% one of them. 10/10! I look forward to your review of the end-game content πŸ˜€

  8. "the end game progression is alway fun for the first two weeks of an expansion" – what? there is no end game for the first two weeks of an expansion, it litterally arrives after two weeks πŸ˜€

  9. Don't worry Peon, nobody's been following the lore since WoD, I'm fairly sure that even Blizzard doesn't know what the fuck is going on, Activisions hired some rando to write the story and thats why it ended up being so twisted and with zero sense.

  10. The lack of shit given by WoW developers is so apperent, from quests just being a walking simulator, classes staying absolutely same, poison pods that you stand in that do nothing (overall enviorement has 0 immersion, they're just codeless things that rarely even have a collider), reusing swimming animation from 2003 for flying with wings, 0 creativity with the new gear, no new systems.

Just end the game, stop milking people who want to hope that the new expansion will be any different, it's becoming abusive at this point what they're doing to earn some easy cash.

  11. I used to play DFO but after getting endgame-ish I found out that the class I picked out of the tons of options was Blood Mage, the ONLY not viable class so i just went:BRUH and deleted the game and forgot about it,imma start again tho,ty for reminding me of its existence

  12. This is the expansion that singleplayer gamers (dominantly considered solo players) LOVE. Yet everywhere I post this unless I'm praising it, I get so much hate lol. It truly shows that MMOs made for groups will NOT be successful and be niche, compared to singleplayer MMOs. How do I know? Not just I, but anyone who makes a post that is pro-grouping gets a lot of hate. The singleplayer gamers pretty much won sadly and now have the numbers to silence those who liked the basic origins of MMOs, grouping MMOs.
