In this attempt at a casual comeback to World of Warcraft, I consider the extent to which Shadowlands attempts to do what Warlords of Draenor did, from a story point of view, but how the basic premise is much better than the idea of time travel and alternative universes. How the quality of Shadowlands storytelling ends up is another matter, but at least it has a foundation of making sense.

Nice to see you back, always enjoyed your perspective, same with your other channel.
This is gonna be the first time I'm not gonna buy an expansion. While WoW has always been able to excite me in some way or another. The devs have really removed the curtain with bfa and showed they rather create hamsters to run on their soul-less content wheel and be a paying customer instead of creating an immersive experience that keep players engaged.

I think I will enjoy the new expansion, and sure there will be some grind mechanic somewhere ^^ because well there is no other way. But I just look for the stuff that makes it interesting for me, little things. For example now going at it with my kid 😉

I have very much burned out on WoW thanks to BfA… But I share your enthusiasm for SL 🙂 wont be playing myself since there are only so many hours in a day but I hope it will be a great experience for everyone playing it 🙂

Long time no see Thete. I am leaving ESO temporarily to try out shadowlands. The story looks like it might be decent and the classes are playing a little better. Bfa was a disaster imo.
