If you don't want to support a $70 game how about going on PlayStation and buying indie games you don't have to buy a fool AAA game it's not that hard to not buy a triple A game Simple Start supporting indie games not that hard you know the 20 and $30 games if you truly need to play old PlayStation start by indie games is this so hard I'm pretty sure there's 20 and $30 games on PlayStation it's not that hard complaining for no reason at all when there's ways around it y'all just want to play those AAA games

Remember Indie Games should be on Playstation notches Xbox it is easy not to pay for AAA game that $70 there's no reason to complain and bringing up covid-19 that's just a lame excuse when there's 20 or $30 games on PlayStation by the name of Indies
For $70 games I don't mind as long as the game is great. If there just shoving out a similar experience as a last gen game with no big features then i have a problem.

Man, Sony and Nintendo are just so greedy, Sony with pushing $70 games, and Nintendo for selling 3 ports for $60 without any upgrade, and than set a artificial shelf life and even removing it from the digital store. Yes, Xbox did try to double gold price, but they backed down after about 8 hours, and proving that fans do have some voice over Xbox.
Keep them ALL off playstation. ALL OF THEM.
As far as the Take-Two price hike. I don't mind if they make a $70-$80 NBA game. Just as long as its a base/core game, and every year after we only need to pay $5-$10 for roster updates, visual and game play tweaks. Maybe in 5 or 10 years we pay for another base/ core game with a graphical overhaul.
And yes, we should have the option to view an in-game list of things that was updated (that we paid for), and check/ uncheck the tweaks we care for. in case we like the 2023 roster (check), but the gameplay of 2022 feels better (check that box), yet you don't care for the shooting mechanic introduced for 2023, so uncheck that box, etc. In other words, have the option to pick and choose specific enhancements you prefer, and roll back to it.
OR
Give us the core game for $50, and we pay $1 a month for quarterly patches and updates until a new core game is ready 5-10 years later.
Microsoft should definitely have the Bethesda games exclusive to their ecosystem, Sony have theirs which I’ve enjoyed immensely over the last 19 years and now Microsoft should have theirs. At the end of the day if there’s a Bethesda game I want to get, I will buy the PC version because I’ve got a gaming laptop I can play their games on. I’ve got the Xbox One X and my PS4 and PS5, but I won’t upgrade to Series X and instead of buying another console I decided that I would use my laptop instead which I normally use for my Elgato.

I'm not going to lie. 70 for a next gen game, i feel like is kind of respectable. especially since, you know, more work goes into games these days and the price of games hasn't changed in a long time. however I believe this increase should be on a case by case basis. that being said, fucking reskinned sport game garbage titles are not one of those cases. you want to increase the price of the same game you literally gave out last year lol? are you high? you should be lucky people are still willing to buy the same exact game every year let alone feel entitled enough to increase the price of it. GTFO

Xbox is no joke this generation. I've been enjoying playing the Series X and fimd myself on it 80% more than my PS5. I'll get back on my PS5 when their exclusives start dropping.
I love the look of next gen 2k, but I waited for a big sale and I got it at gamestop for 49$ recently with the sales tax day. It's definitely fun and looks very good but I'll never pay 70$ for a game. Ill buy infinite for 60$ though. Since I'm used to that price point, yes I can get infinite on gamepass, but I want to own that

Expect the Bethesda purchase to be fully talked about next week. Major Nelson said on his podcast that they have a very special episode coming up next week with some guests, but he can’t say anything yet because things are being finalized on the background. Pete, Phil and Todd have all been together in the podcast before so I wouldn’t be surprised if they are the guests he was talking about.
i will never pay £70 for a game. I'm patient so i'll wait for the price drop. Also, i thought control was meh at best. I've been playing games for 40 years so is it just this generation of gamers are easily pleased? who knows but it was repetative as hell. All Zenimax games will be exclusive. Why this arguement is still a thing is beyond me 🙄
