Today Xbox announced that Undertale, Outriders, and Octopath Traveler are all coming to Xbox Game Pass SOON and this is totally blowing my mind. In this video DreamcastGuy reacts to the news and talks about the biggest implications against Sony’s PS5 and why Microsoft may be competing even harder against the PlayStation 5 this next generation than they did against the PS4 and xbox One x.

Its not Console War any more its Console Service War.
Until they make you pay 100's of dollars a month for game pass it will NEVER be profitable. sure it might be"Good" for the consumer but you're technically just paying a monthly fee to RENT games. imagine you beat 2 AAA games and platinum or get every trophy on xbox for them for only 15$ and they are normally $60 a game. that's $120 for both only for $15. Now imagine having to pay the $120 for both games on ps4. who just made more money? sony. Yeah sure the only reason Game pass makes as much money as it does and isn't going under, atm is because Microsoft is so loaded. Now think about if Microsoft had around the same money as Sony? game pass is sustainable but at the same time it's not.
Sony got to comfortable and they do more of the same game pass is going to blow up once these first parties come rolling in.

He said it in the video and I just want to make sure this is known. Call of Duty will likely never come to GamePass, and certainly never day and date. Activision makes too much money on them for them to do it

As someone who has a PS4, 3 ps vitas, an Xbox one s, and a switch, I can assure you people don't lable you a Sony fan boy because they think you play too much PlayStation, or love your ps5 too much.
Your labeled a Sony fan boy because of how you come off when talking about xbox. Or switch, or anything other than a Sony product. YOU Dreamcast guy won't be able to see how you come off when talking about xbox, but we the viewers who are not you, see it very well. Basically, you have an undertoned Sony bias, not really a PlayStation bias, but a SONY bias.

If outriders does reasonably well Square Enix could put avengers on there to boost its income on the game
I was not gonna buy outriders until a deep discount
Now it will only cost me the amount of time it takes to download

This is exactly why I bought the Series X and not the PS5. Sadly the PS5 has no unplayed exclusives I want and won't have a significant amount for a couple of years. The XBOX however offers a great foundation for the entire back catalogue and a range of forthcoming exclusives. I'm no Xbox fanboy and will buy a PS5 – when a revised model is released.

Competition always pushes creativity, so that sounds good.
I don't really care for the game pass I rather have my games physical than digital. Plus with the game pass you don't really owe the game you only have a license for that game and if a game company decides to say they don't want their game on the pass anymore they can pretty much remove your game. That's the problem I have with digital games.
Man dude, you should appreciate more food innovative games with quality than cheap stuff. I can see people like you whining in a few years when games as service portals got the standard, about the "good old days" when games had a value and quality.

Imo Sony dropped ball with PS5 and its BC. They could have used older PS titles as a "arcade" that comes with PS Plus like PS Plus collection does. If people would get10 biggest titles per console with higher framerates and resolution that would have been big marketing win for them…..
