On today’s Daily Fix, now that Microsoft and Bethesda are one, we’ve got some answers about the various Zenimax titles hitting Game Pass. But it seems with all those answers, Phil Spencer has raised more questions about new franchises such as Starfield, and the future of beloved series like Fallout and The Elder Scrolls. Loop Hero, the addictive endless RPG from Four Quarters and Devolver Digital has hit the ground at a sprint, with half a million copies sold in one week. And finally, we hope you weren’t TOO excited about the return of EA Sports College Football, because you might be waiting just a bit longer for the next installment.

  1. Give it up IGN ffs 🙈 There’s no slightly more clarification it’s clear as day! ES Fallout and everything is now exclusive! Online services like FO76 and ESO will still be supported.

  2. He said, Everything that is not already contracted/already on other platforms will be exclusive going forwards to platforms that have Gamepass, aka Moblie, Xboxs PC and TVs in the future with Xbox Apps etc. Pretty damn simple buddies

  3. People forget that PlayStation and Xbox consoles make up a TINY portion of the game market. The quote is clear…future titles only where gamepass is supported (Xbox and PC).

  4. Its not clear guys. Titles with a legacy will still be multiplatform, meaning fallout, Es, doom and basically anything else. Might see some new ips going exclusive but it sounds like those will be b-tier "passion projects"

  5. Lmao they were pretty damn clear that anything currently out or has contractual obligations will continue to be business as usual but all future titles, including games in development, will only be available on Xbox Game Pass platforms.

  6. It seems like people are going through the first stage of grief here ; I.e denial.
The message was absolutely clear; they will honour contractual agreements for games such as ghost wire Tokyo and death loop but still continue to support games like ESO, FO76 and ect. on other platforms.
Future MMOS by zenimax online will probably be multiplat considering MMOs need very large playerbases to be sustainable.
Unless they manage to get gamepass on switch and ps5, future titles like Starfield, Fallout and elderscrolls 6 — I find this highly unlikely because it would help Sony more tbh, as why would you want an xbox if you can buy a ps5 that you can play playstation and xbox exclusives?

  7. If you are a playstation die-hard, there is no reason to be upset. These games will be available via the xbox platform on PC. If you don't have a gaming PC, they will also be available on xcloud. So you'll be able to play gamepass games on your mobile device and it's eventually coming to browser. So if you don't want to buy an xbox console, there will be other means to play these games. It's not about console sales, but platform engagement. Welcome to the xbox platform.

  8. Phil Spencer's statement was very clear: contacts will be respected, legacy titles will be supported (as in, titles already released that may get updated with DLC), existing communities will be supported (ESO, FO76).

Everything else is exclusive. Including numbered sequels.

It's simple. Put this debate to bed, stop playing the hopeful/naive card!!

  9. Everything unreleased that's not under contract will be exclusive. It doesn't matter if the game is almost finished, it's Xbox exclusive. Neither starfield or elder scrolls 6 is under contract, they're exclusive. Why is this so hard for people to understand?

  10. In short: Current Titles on other platforms will still be supported, Ghostwire and Deathloop will be exclusive to PS5 for 1 year but then move to Xbox and PC after that. Future Bethesda titles that they haven't announced what platform it's on will most likely go to platforms that support Gamepass (Xbox, PC & Mobile).

  11. There's no way Elder Scrolls 6 isn't an Xbox Exclusive. After how absolutely massive Skyrim was they'd be fools not to make it one, it'd be an even bigger system seller than Halo.

  12. They were very clear, Deathloop and Ghostwire Tokyo have contractual obligations to see through. After that they are exclusive to Xbox apart from games already on other platforms. All new games will be exclusive. Stop twisting the truth

  13. They have College degree's in journalism and these ign reporter's still can't tell the truth, let alone get their information correct!!! Phil Spencer made it very clear the Rival console makers will still be honored their contracts they had signed with Bethesda and it's games!!! After which however, when those contracts are up,then all games by Bethesda will go straight to the Xbox and permanently remain there as exclusives within the next two years or less, that's what he said!!! Truthfully speaking if it was Sony on the other hand, most likely they would immediately or effective immediately cancel all contracts!!! Which in turn would have caused a series of lawsuits!!! But then again, that's corporate greed for you!!!🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 On tha real!!!👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿

  14. Dude literally said games that don't have exclusive contracts with other platforms will be Xbox only (deathloop ghostwire)

Games that are already out like doom fall put dishonored etc….will get updates and dlc on PS

No ES6 no Starfield for Playstation
