  1. I think it is good that Microsoft held up their hands, acknowledged their mistake, reversed their decision on the Xbox Live price increase and apologised.    Soon it will all be forgotten about and will be an afterthought.   Having said that though, I guess the internet rage mob will never be happy though and will still seek a reason to complain.

  2. I dont see CDPR fall in the wrong hands anytime soon, the majority of the shares are in the hands of 4 people. Of which Im sure they also made an agreement they cant sell their shares to an outside parties without the groups concent, and also give group members the first option if one of them wants to sell. I have a simular structure for my company. The majority when it comes to shares doesnt have to be 51, you also can have majority if you have for example 45% of the shares.

Taking over European companies is more difficult compared to in the US, national pride and politics really come into play fast and more often create some serious bumps. CDPR is also part of a group of young European companies who get support from Poland and the EU for national and Europe promotion, but also is an important part of a program to stimulate jobs and ecudation in lesser developed parts of the EU. Which with all kinds of arrangements with governments a buyer has to deal with. Which more than once was a reason for the interested buyer to pull back. Im not saying it cant happen, but I dont think it will be done just like that. If it ever comes to this or they want to sell, I think they will call MS and offer them a first option. Which I base on the relation between MS and CDPR which goes way back to the days of the cold war, its a simular relations MS has with Bethesda.
