With Sony’s Ps5 and Nintendo fighting for the Japanese market, having Game Pass on the Switch can really help them. Along with Microsoft and Xbox putting their games on another platform.

Breath of the wild is one of my favorite zelda games and if it came to xbox I would literally die from a heart attack. (Maybe not a heart attack but it would be amazing.)

Xbox gave Ori to Nintendo and also Cuphead before it came out to playstation 4. You never know.
Consensus seems to be gamepass will never come to switch. Because the herd is usually wrong I think that (as impossible as it sounds) it's more likely to be true.
