Destiny 2 released the new 3.0.1 update with many improvements for the next gen consoles. This Destiny 2 gameplay on the Xbox Series X shows you the next gen consoles version of the new Destiny 2 update. Next Gen Destiny 2 is also available for Playstation 5 and Xbox Series S.
The biggest news are the performance and graphics improvements. Destiny 2 now has a Field of View (FOV) Slider for the Xbox Series X/S and PS5 versions and is playable in native 4K resolution and 60 FPS. The only compromise on the Xbox Series S version is the 1080p resolution. And of course the new Destiny 2 Next Gen Update also uses the advantages of the new high speed SSDs and enables ultra fast loading times in Destiny 2.
Destiny 2 is the latest Triple-A Title of Bungie, the iconic game development studio, that invented and developed the Halo series. Destiny 2 has a huge fan base and merges many gaming worlds into one game. You can add Destiny 2 to many genres, like FPS (First-Person-Shooter), MMO (Massively Multiplayer Online Game), RPG (Roleplay Game), TPS (Third-Person-Shooter). Its loots are legendary, so brings the new Destiny 2 next gen also the legendary hawkmoon hand cannon back. Destiny 2 Next Gen on Xbox Series X is playable in native 4K with 60 FPS without any issues. It also has a 120 FPS mode which will eventually sacrifice graphical effects. But as a competitive game with many high skilled players and extremely difficult quests, a 120 FPS mode will be definitely appreciated by many fans. A Destiny 2 120 FPS gameplay video is unfortunately not possible right now because of Youtube’s 60 FPS cap.
