  1. I am fine with some Ps5 controller features but I do not want anything unnecessary or gimmicky that really wonโ€™t be used like the touchpad. But I do think Xbox will add certain things like haptic feedback

  2. I Hope Microsoft Isn't trying to Copy Sony's Dualsense Controller by putting Adaptive Triggers in their Xbox Controllers. Can't Microsoft make their own Version of Sony's Adaptive Triggers and give them A Tweak so they feel slightly different.

  3. Xbox does not need the features PlayStation 5 controller you don't need a mic and drain your battery faster I mean they can improve the haptic feedback the controller already has haptic feedback and lower latency anyway the Xbox controller still better and it's already been proven scientifically the Xbox players have higher reaction time then PlayStation players

  4. So sad that Microsoft fails to understand their audience so much they have to directly ask them if they want features a competitor is already doing. That's weak. It's a beta male move, because Microsoft is the Beta to Sony's Alpha.

  5. They would just start selling the Series X with the new haptic controllers. And for those who bought it early without the new controller, they would probably offer some kind of deal. Like half off on the website, if you prove you purchased the Series x.

  6. The PS5 controllers have serveral reports of triggers breaking already.. so there are not "well built". I imagian they will make a new 3rd gen pro controller. Based off my experience of owning the both prev pro controllers im excited about a new high end premimum offering that improves on these innovations. Also feel its time Microsoft get into the VR game.. Hitman VR looks good

  7. Goes without saying – Should be industry standard, as I said when I heard about the haptic feedback. And im a pc gamer. We need things like this. Simple as that ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
Just as Nintendo was first and Revolutioniced gaming since They implemented analog sticks!

Remember well when Nintendo said: their will be no gaming if not analog sticks going forward. That was and is the real revolution.
Sonys haptic is just evolution, but needed going forward, as I said.

Valvle was first with haptic feedback btw – FYI console bOis if you dont know that ๐Ÿ˜‰

  8. We have haptic feedback, but its not as advanced… My guess is that MS already has the tech, but decided to save money to make the series x more powerful, and will add this new controller features a year in when the price of production comes down… Great strategy for them but not so much for us, unless it helps improve the controller overall…

I say they add a rechargeable battery, and rubber grip… I also think they must make the triggers tighter, and maybe coat them with rubber too, to make the vibration feel more high quality…

  9. If its reliable and use and implemented well Im ok with it but its not something I feel I have to have………….Im somewhat it indifferent to it……I can take or leave it!
The controller that comes with the SX is already a good one….

Im more concerned about getting all the New games coming out running smoothly and looking great!!
I would also prefer to see ALL gamepass games and ultimate have the option of locked 60fps and improved graphics.
gamepass is already a great service but that would be nice to see.

That would be a nice mandate to have for any FIRST or THIRD party DEVS to unlock the frames on the game.
EX. say for instance gta 5 comes back to GP next month or whatever thats cool but lets unlock the frames on it…same with control….thats a wish that I would like to see over haptic feed back!
Unrelated I know but that would make gp even more stellar than it already its. EA play is pretty cool but that would be slick if they went back and unlocked the frames if possible.
I realize that is probably more difficult to do….. easier said than done type of thing, just saying….

    Happy gaming.

  10. I wouldn't really want anything too gimmicky that drains battery power quickly on the xbox controller because the controller is great as is even if it's a little more basic than the ps5 controller. Both will copy each other down the line anyway. PS5 will likely get quick game launch/resume and copy a gamepass style subscription service.

  11. When is the PS5 getting XBSS/X features like good performance instead of 50fps AC:V and 85fps in Dirt 5 and lower fps in DMC5. Sony are advertising the PS5 as 120fps console yet it is still stuggling to hit that 60fps

  12. speaker is kinda cool but i dont give fuck about those feedback hopeful if they do make controller similar to ps5 atleast let us turn them off or make regular controller too or i am gonna be pissed of

  13. MS needs to work on their Dev tools so games can have at least parity before they start adding support for the competitions controller. Why have support for their controller when the game still plays better on the PS5? Just buy a PS5 then?

  14. As long as I can turn off the haptic feedback, adaptive triggers and all those things, then o donโ€™t mind, but give us the option. I can see some games where these features may benefit, but I have always turned off vibrations and I just want to push a button and have it respond. I play a lot of my games on hard or the hardest difficulty, and the last thing I need is my controller vibrating, or having to put more pressure on the R2/RT button to shoot my gun. I can see the benefits of the Duelsense for kids, but I just feel itโ€™s another gimmick like PS move, PSVR and PS4 touchpad and speaker.
