The Nintendo Wii is such an odd system with loads of interesting mechanics in use for unique gameplay experiences. Emulating the system on PC has been a pretty great experience for a few years now thanks to a computer’s ability to use actual Wii remotes as a control option. But instead of using a computer to emulate the Wii today, we will be using an Xbox Series X|S! I have to say that emulating a Wii on an Xbox is quite something. A vast majority of the Wii library is accessible with nothing more than the Series controller and a few setup steps! This means that Wii disks, Wii Ware, and Virtual Console games are at your disposal on a Series X|S. The only real limitation for game content comes from games that need a Wii Motion Plus controller. In this video I go over the steps to get games onto your Xbox, setting up a Dolphin system folder, control setup, and core options. If you have any questions ask them down in the comments below!

Dumb question, how do you enable quick menu? I can not,for the life of me, figure out where to change these settings.

Proper need some help i had retroarch all setup runninf great etc but after seeing could add more internal storage in your video thought awesome and added more i werent to fusssed about wiping everything as wasnt too difficult to do but now ive found myself unable to connect to xbox portal via remote settings tried laptop phone resetting internet deactivating console then reactivating just the browser times out no option of entering site like before any ideas or anyone else had this issue thanks ive also disabled security passwords still no luck

Thanks for this helpful video! After setting it up like you did, it runs nicely. However, if a don't press a button for 5 to 10 seconds, all wii games get really stuttery. After I pressed a button again, it runs smoothly. Any solution?
Hey just wanted to say I got the shaders working on DX11 for dolphin, GameCube specifically.
And so this is on Dev version. What about the retail version? There seems to be issues running Wii on retail due to file size limit or something. I'd it possible you can show how to play with on retail. Specifically Super Smash Bros! Lol

Hey Archades Games I’ve followed your video and was able to get Wii games to run however when I move the dolphin sys folder to retroactively how come it doesn’t work?
Brilliant tutorial, but can I ask why you're moving the Dolphin sys file into Retroarch? Retroarch already has the Dolphin emu in the list of cores.
Will this allow multiplayer on one Xbox Console? I can't get a second controller to sync when I play NSMB.
