  1. They should remove it off the Xbox one and focus on the next gen consoles. That way MS can compete with Sony’s exclusives. Hopefully they can get the game of the year award.

Edit: Or they can make a different version for each console you know same way with Minecraft. Java edition and the Xbox one edition. But with more drastic changes such as completely different textures and basically an entire next gen looking game and then heavily downgrade that to run on the older gen consoles.

  2. Very interested to see how this game runs on the Xbox One, the issue is the Xbox One has hardware that is older than 2013, so developers sure do have a difficult task trying to optimise games for it. I feel if Halo Infinite wasn't being supported on the Xbox One, the game would not have seen a delay. I'm certain the PC version and Series X version will be great, and I can't wait to play it on my PC.

  3. Gamers need to stop worrying about game design. The design for every single next gen game we've seen, including The Medium, Ratchet and Clank, and Demon Souls can be done on previous gen hardware if they scaled back the graphics specifically for those platforms to accommodate what they want the game to do from a design perspective.

  4. People forget unlike cyberpunk they’ve been developing strictly for consoles longer than CDPR and it’s only on 1 ecosystem, 1st party games at their best run better than 3rd party games at their best, on any console the forza series is the best looking and running racers.

  5. Honestly they should just drop the Xbox one version. If you don’t care about 4K and don’t wanna spend $500 on the series x then that’s what the series S is for. If they can get it to work it’s fine. I just want them to push the series X version to the max since I plan to play it on that version

  6. No way will Microsoft allow Halo Infinite to run like trash on Xbox One systems. That'd be so embarrassing on top of the game being delayed for another year and with the Xbox Series consoles being out of stock.

  7. People need to stop comparing the Cyberpunk situation to other games, that alone indicates that gamers have little small perception on how other developers doing their jobs compared to CD Projekt.

  8. The weaker hardware will hold the game back absolutely. It has to be the same base game if the Xbox one version is to be compatible online with the series X version.

Meaning that any limitations that affect everything besides graphical fidelity (physics, enemy count, map size, etc etc) has to be determined by the weaker hardware of the Xbox one.

Honestly this a fucking joke that they're still catering to the Xbox one owners all for $$$$$$$

  9. This is such a fucking joke. I miss when next gen consoles were allowed to move on the previous gen console and there were usually a number of next gen exclusives on launch.

Seriously the Xbox one is one of the worst consoles ever in that its hardware was never that impressive as a next gen console in the first place

Why the hell are we trying to drag this shitty console with us into 2021? Let the fucking thing die already.

I honestly hope halo infinite fails and this backfires in Microsoft's greedy faces.

  10. It’s definitely possible. Look at Sea of Thieves. Looks and plays lovely on high end PCs and Series consoles. Still works well on the One and low end PCs.

  11. Honestly all it needs is to be fun. From the last bit of spartan designs I think it will look visually stunning taking from the best of past Halo games. Hope they take this extra time to really work out any problems so launch is as smooth as it can be.
