  4. It's amazing how they decided not to put it up when you bought your Xbox series s and Xbox series x and now they're going back on their word once you've bought the console I think it's disgusting especially when we haven't had any new games on release on their new consoles
    They should do what the PC does where you can play for nothing online obviously if you purchased the game because some of these games that you buy are online only and then you have to buy Xbox Live Gold all I can say it is is a Kick in the teeth thank you Microsoft👎👎👎👎

I worked saved hard for my sx I can’t afford to renew my live when it ends my digital library my 13 year account all lost this is a massive kick in the face by Phil Spencer saying to reach all players when they pricing players out who literally can’t afford this I don’t want ultimate or gamepass

  14. I’ve always complained about having to pay for Gold, but that’s probably the PC gamer in me. What made it worse was when Xbox games came to PC, yet PC players didn’t have to pay for Gold while using the same servers and features as console players. Gold became an easier pull to swallow with Game Pass Ultimate, but Microsoft has been doing amazing with all these pro-consumer moves like Play Anywhere, cross play, bringing games to other platforms, Game Pass, Ultimate, etc and this price increase has ruined all those years of hard work by the team at Xbox.

  16. I just bought 5 years of Brazil 12 month cards relatively cheap. Even though I have ultimate, the only reason is that I could convert 36 months for 1$ I never use it, I don't want to be told which games to play, and I'd much rather have a cheaper option. I need Xbox Live to last for the remainder of my Series X's life, so I've bought enough to keep me through to february 2026. I might consider going back to pc, just to not having to pay high monthly fees for something I rarely use. I am an adult – I don't really game all day, every day, so these fees is a relatively high cost compared to what value I get from it. It sucks.

    I said to myself i will sell my xbox series x and buy a ps5 if the price dosnt go down by the date of my birthday

  25. They sell the hardware at a loss. Gold has always been a way to subsidize the cost of the console. It also pushes people to ultimate. Just bad timing, January is slow and all of youtube channels jumped on it.

  26. I have Gamepass ultimate for the Gold discounts that you get for games and the EA games on Gamepass. Although, I think it's bullshit that you have to have Xbox Live Gold to play free to play games on Xbox. I think that's the biggest issue. On Playstation, you don't need PS Plus to play Apex Legends or Fortnite. I think if MS makes Fornite and Apex free to play then this wouldn't be such an issue.
