  1. I think non lazy developers will find a way to optimize their games for the XBOX Series S later down the road.
    Some menaged to optimize their games for the Switch and it is less powerful hardware than the Series S.

  2. I think the optimization issue Remedys lead dev is talking about is not that common. With Control it might be the segmented RAM that bites them, because their game/engine is really logic heavy, thus requiring more "standard RAM" than other games, so this should be like 1/10 games that might be troublesome. But one issue he is mentioning will continue to come up I think, about the time investment for each console/PC version. Series S is the console with the least amount of players on it, this gen, and its the most optimisation demanding, making up for a bad combination, as devs mostly but more resources where the larger player base is. Tho, most games should be a easy port from the SX version, like 8/10 Games should just scale graphics/textures/resolution down easily, as we heard it from all these devs mentioned in the video.

  3. When devs start to use mesh shaders, vrs, sampler feedback streaming, BCpack and machine learning on XSX games will blow away even the best looking pc games of today. Just look at the UE5 demo on the inferior ps5, it's not even using half of the new tech available in XSX.
