In this video, I will discuss some of the interesting backstories behind Yanfei that you may or may not have known! Five specific details and speculations from her story and the quest Serenitea Pot. As a bonus, one more extra thing that I thought was really funny at the end of this video!
With the release of Genshin Impact Patch 1.5, we got a lot more content. Housing, new events, new quests and more. Of the new things included in the patch, new characters Eula and Yanfei have also released. How much do you know about these new characters? This is technically my first “Lore” centric video! I hope you enjoy it!

Genshin Impact Patch, new update, new Story Quests and world quests. Housing, new bosses, new events. But will we get more, awesome super, story quest that gives us more information about the lore of Genshin Impact. High damage and one shotting bosses are great. Memes are also super funny. But the story and lore is the one of the best aspect in this game. Looking forward to Inazuma when it finally releases.

THEN….I pulled Yanfei another 3 times using single wishes! The hell…? – So now I’m kinda forced to use her.
(I do like using her but I would have really preferred to get other characters)

FUN FACT!: The gift from Rex Lapis that’s said to measure the value of all things is an actual thing in real life, mostly used in more traditional Chinese medicine shops where they use it to weigh the herbs and such ( such up Chinese medicine balance scale if you wanna find out what it looks like)

3:55 Regarding the book that materializes out of thin air, I don't think that's a codal.
Codals or codices only contain laws that pertain to that certain type of law; criminal, civil, labor, tax, etc. They do not contain jurisprudence.
However, we see from the quest that Yanfei reads out people's names from the book and the advice they sought from her. Thus, it's most likely a hard-bound book containing the copies of petitions, affidavits, and court orders/decisions she's accumulated over the years.
