You cannot say the word "NIGHT" anymore in Minecraft. It's banned.

The word “Night” is profane. So are a few others.

  1. I was trying to rename my weapons and honestly I learnt new profanities from this I didn’t even know they existed until I tried to name my netherite sword the night slayer

  2. Really hope some of the features are optional and moderation be allowed to be kept in the hands of private servers, would really suck if I get on the server I’ve played for years and get banned cause a child lost at bedwars

  3. I just find it funny that they're trying to restrict profanity in a game where you can literally build the letters of a swear word on top of someone's house. How would you even report that if that offended you? The reporting system doesn't include an option to attach screenshots…

  4. Just ban for slurs no matter what and have an option to turn off profanity filters because any adult who cares enough about seeing swears in Minecraft to have an issue with this will bother to turn it off.

  5. Please guys. We need to voice out our thoughts to Mojang about this matter. We can't let dumb corporations control everything we do. Just look at Roblox, they're literally out of touch with their community. We CANNOT let the same happen to Minecraft!

  6. why isn't this a personal thing? Just make it so in the settings there is an option to turn on censoring. Nothing else needed, and any mistakes in the coding won't get accounts banned. Is there something I'm missing because that seems like the best fix and that's not what they are doing
