  2. Edit: Combined two walls of text into one.

Lots of manga artists started out as hentai artists or are hentai artists on the side. My notable ones are Nagatoro's artist because he basically wiped his hentai stuff off the internet when he went "legit", much to the chagrin of OG fans like myself. Fuck that guy.
Yuuki Ray created "Tamamo-chan's a Fox!" but for the longest time he's been known for his top-tier hentai doujins. Same for "Plus Sized Elf". Also the Monster Musume manga and anime all trace their roots back to the original hentai comics of a dozen identical twin brothers living with monster girls. Also my favorite example, which I'll put on a separate line and bold it for emphasis:

THE ENTIRE "FATE" FRANCHISE STARTED AS AN EROTIC VISUAL NOVEL WHERE ONE OF THE MAJOR EARLY PLOT POINTS IS THE MAIN CHARACTER RAW-DOGGING SABER TO SAVE HER LIFE

As for manga I'm reading personally, none are really big titles (any more, at least) but
"The Witches Printing Office" Is a story of a girl finding herself in a fantasy world. So, in order to try and get back, she organizes a convention for the various magic users (think "Comic Con" for wizards), as well as starting up a printing shop that copies spell books. It's fun and at one point several bootleg Street Fighter characters and bootleg Sephiroth come to try and pull out bootleg Excalibur, but fail. It's a slice-of-life comedy manga.

"Gleipnir" is a story of a boy that can turn into the most terrifying monster known to man: a fursuit. He uses this power to save a girl and from there it only gets weirder as they start trying to help an alien save his friends. I can't say more because spoilers, but there's also an anime covering the first few few volumes. It's an action thriller with some questionable sexual undertones. Nothing too explicit, but…you'll know it when you see it.

"The Ancient Magus' Bride: Wizard's Blue" is a spin-off of "The Ancient Magus' Bride", but rather than a human girl marrying a monster man, it's a human boy marrying a dragon woman. She's a sweetheart and he's got some cool paint magic that he's learning to handle. Equal parts action and romance, and I hope it doesn't end in tragedy.

"Chobits" , a favorite from back when I was in highschool, came out with a hard-cover anniversary edition. It's about working-class loser Hideki Motosuwa, and his adventure in life after he finds a human-shaped computer called a Persocom in the trash. It's not very action-y, but if you like drama, it is worth a read. It also has an anime adaptation with a slightly different ending.

"Made in Abyss" is something I need to catch up on now that the anime has a new season airing. It takes place on an alternate earth where there's a giant hole in the ground. People explore this massive hole, pulling out treasures and discovering strange creatures. Our MC Riko is training to become one of these delvers, but she discovers a strange robot. Together they'll descend into the Abyss to search for Riko's missing mother. It's drama and actiony with some VERY questionable themes and imagery. Lots of suffering, too. Lots of fun moments, but I feel obligated to warn everyone about the former stuff.

  3. I know you may not like the manga I am reading. But it’s called: sleepy princess in the demon castle. It’s a adventure, fantasy comedy and slice of life. Sleepy princess also has a anime adaptation too.

You should give it a try even if you'll delete it afterwards it is a gacha game but different from all the other gacha games for more info go watch "The ultimate beginners guide" youtuber Lucas IV
