I've played a ton of zed. Not considered a main but a ton of zed. today I learned what the shuriken mark above their head means
So what actually happened with the yone and your ulti is, when you ultied him and got the shuriken above his head, your ultimate did/was gonna do 308, and he was at 307HP, but he had refillable potion ticking, the 1 extra or so seconds it took for your ultimate to actually go off; the refillable healed him above your 308 damage but like 8 hp or something like that. The shuriken disappeared from his head before you blinked back to Kayn.

I think it makes sense for Zed to have a faster level and clear due to the fact your kill pressure would USUALLY come from your ult.
That herald fight was so goddam fun. So much outplay in such a small skirmish.
