When you learn that bullets barely do damage in the game, it kinda makes sense how many it took to kill Mia at the beginning…
Everything after the Heinsenberg tank battle would be my top choice for WTF moments. The state of the village, the BSAA and Chris being at odds, the reveals in Miranda's lab, Ethan's nightmare. Oh man that was a mad half hour. Moreau in general and what's in the cave behind the golden fish, are pretty close too.
The slide show credits reveal that Miranda's account of what happened is not what really happened and she was indirectly the cause of [redacted]'s death by lycanified [redacted] because she [redacted] first, making contact with the [redacted] not in a cave but in her [redacted].
Not watching the video kos I havnt finished the game but I'm sure giant baby fetus is on there! Gonna be the biggest WTF moment of 2021! Fuckin capcom like best in the biz

🤣So the resident evil video game series has become a full blown circus laughing stock of absurdity. It's A full blown horror comedy video game in the making compare to it previous Predecessors. I'm aware the other resident evil video games are kinda silly horror comedy to, however resident evil village level of absurdity is far beyond theirs.
🤣🤣What next for fairy-tale folklore resident evil video game series, a evil humanoid mutant fairy tyrant b.ow that dwells in a cursed maze forest where the victim that enters the evil fairy area would encounter hallucinations, also difficult to find a way out of the mystical curse forest. The evil fairy is causes by the molded parasite cadou or what remains of the megaycete the connection has from Miranda the shape shifting wick witch.
🤣🤣Or A evil vampiric leprechaun b.ow, a blood drinking goblins b.ow, a evil attractive humanoid mutant Mermaid b.o.w that could also walk on land, that lurks simple prey with her appearance into her lair to sweetly drown them as well devour her prey, the Mermaid witch also has hallucination powers. Would it be Another mechanical transformer b.o.w in disguise lol etcetera.
and this is only the first half of the game! the rest of it after the Beneviento mansion just drops more and more crazy shit on you, such as (SPOILERS)
Moreau's whole disgusting boss fight with vomiting acid, the Heisenberg's gothic industrial factory with cyborg zombies, (some of them had fucking JET PACKS for god's sake) meeting Chris at the bottom of the factory and learning that Mia at the start of the game was actually mother miranda taking on her form, learning how the crash at the start of the game happened (miranda mimicked a corpse and came back to life on the transport, causing the crash herself) the tank? the fucking MINI-TANK with a machine gun, rocket launcher and chainsaw attached that you use to fight a giant mutated cyborg Heisenberg (who calls Chris a "boulder-punching asshole" we FINALLY get an in-universe reference to the ridiculousness of Chris Redfield punching a boulder, i'm so happy) Ethan getting his HEART RIPPED OUT, playing as Chris and mowing down hordes of lycans, finding the real Mia in an underground torture lab/dungeon thing and also finding out that Ozwell Spencer stayed in the village and was a friend of Mother Miranda for some time, and reding about his decision to found umbrella based off of the symbol on the giant's chalice; perspective switching back to Ethan having a hallucination of EVELINE who tells him he's BEEN DEAD FOR THREE YEARS, since Jack baker actuallly killed him right after the Mia boss fight in re7, and he's been completel molded since then; facing mother miranda and seeing Rose come back in the ceremony instead of Eva (Miranda's daughter) solidifying Rose's permanence and driving miranda mad, the final boss fight NOT being against a wall of snot slowly advancing on you, Ethan sacrificing himself to blow up the megamycete and begging Chris to look after Rose, then the post credits scene of Rose Winters all grown up, visiting Ethan's grave with flowers and a black suv with a Suit demanding her presence and calling her Eveline as a joke (dude seriously. you nickname her after the bioweapon that murdered dozens of innocent people and tortured both her parents and then expect her to just laugh it off????? fuck you, dude)
like, all of that shit shocked me WAY more than the stuff is the video but that's just imo
The House Beneviento sequence was the best thing in the entire game. And it was criminally too short.

Ethan Winters would probably be better off without hands
Angie is the best thing in the game. But the Beneveinto part was way to short. It should've been at least 30 minutes longer. Angie is one of my favorite villains ever. And i love the Silent Hills easter egg with the creepy baby and radio.
Since this Resident Evil video game call resident evil village is so cuckoo, Y'all know what Ethan Winters should had did when he got his fingers ripped off. Is killed the werewolf-lycan that took his fingers, then in the game Ethan Winters rip open the werewolf-lycan stomach, then grab both of his fingers as well as crack open up an joke by saying give me my ring finger and pinky finger back, while Ethan Winters reattach his cut off fingers just like he did with his right hand when the vampire witch Alcina Dimitresc cut it off.
A question for anyone Spoilers.
Do y'all think molded Ethan Winter could had put his ripped out heart back into his chest thing pour some of that chemicals fluid stuff on his chest to speed up the process while everything is now find?
Another thing could Ethan Winters take a gun shot to the head like jack Barker did in the garage fight? Or Ethan Winters being able to block bullets shots with his bare hands? I don't see why he couldn't after all Ethan Winters can block razor sharp claw, razor sharp objects etcetera.
Seeing that baby thing in the mansion reminded me so much of PT for some reason.
Ethan: Gets hands bitten off by Lycans and severed off by claws.
Also Ethan: Blocks machetes, two handed axes and giant hammers bare handed like it was nothing.
I am pretty sure they only played the first 2 parts of the game since most of the moments were in the first hour…. There are far bigger wtf moments especially if you read everything. Hell, some of the notes have the best WTF moments in game…
smh, its alright. The old third person coop experience was alot better. Bring that back.

My biggest what the f*** moment was finding that stupid ass picture for the phantom fish and going to the little pool and there was no phantom fish even after I found the picture I literally search for like an hour while streaming on twitch looking like an idiot
And this is literally my second time beating it because the first time I didn't get all of my treasures like I should have and still can't find the stupid fish
Kinda figured Ethan was a bio weapon because no amount of herbs or healing juice can fix severed limbs many times.

Resident Evil 7 and 8 very similar to game Outlast 1 and 2, similar lost finger, similar monster, theme. Maybe RE take inspiration from outlat.
It's pretty obvious the devs treat Ethan's hand damage as a meme at this point… Especially, when Lady D slices one off and he just "glues" it back on with Jesus Juice – LOL. I also think they do this on purpose to give the game moments of levity to cut the tension because if it was 100% serious all the time, most people couldn't finish these games given the gravity of what is actually going on.

Why does the "reattaching the hand" even need mentioning? The healing potion combined with his Mold-induced healing factor being able to do that in both games.
Frankly, it should just be expected by now.
Do you think the fact that Ethan had two fingers removed, and therefore only had 8 left, was a nod to it being the 8th game?
The House Beneviento was one of my favorite parts of the game. It almost felt like an homage to PT or just all of Silent Hill. The fog, the monsters, the literal house on a hill, the psychological horror, the creepiness, the BABBY…so good
