Welcome to Night City in Cyberpunk 2077, where I play a Corpo lifepath focused character. In this episode, we meet up with Jackie who takes us to the Ripperdoc, Viktor. Afterwards, we meet with a guy named Dex who is meant to be our new fixer. He tells us about a client who wants a chip and we do some side missions like Troublesome Neighbors for Regina, where we kidnap a gang leader.

  1. Edit: This might be dumb, but I'm probably going to be at a loss on how to title episodes for this series, haha.
    Hey folks, welcome to part two. I'm going to amend the description to include what I generally do in each part without any major spoilers. Also I do edit out the flashing lights that can trigger epileptic seizures which is why this video is a bit late. I do provide a brief into into my idea of my corporate V, which will help inform our future decisions in the game. Also at the end, there is a question for all of you and what choice I make depends on the community's response.

  4. I'd almost want to stay stick with Dex… I don't think Ev would doublecross you herself, but I also don't think she's the type to look before she leaps. Yeah, you could swipe the bulk of the cash before the fixer can react… doesn't mean it won't catch up to you in a real bad way later. There's a reason you don't do shit like that. Plus, you have people like Jackie and T-Bug who'd almost certainly be at risk if you try and pull a fast one under everybody's noses.

    On the other hand, I will tag on the anecdote that Dex seems about as trustworthy as a grinning Skaven with a hand behind his back, so I'm fully prepared to eat my words here if the big man knifes you in the back somewhere down the line, and when you also take into account the existence of that particular trailer where he does exactly that, I'd say a betrayal is more than a likely possibility. I suppose there's always an argument to be made for backstabbing someone before the backstab you (which I'd say is more or less a guarantee with Dex, it's just a question of when). Think like a Skaven, could save your life in Night City.

    Truth be told, I'm torn, there's pros and cons to each. My gut says keep it straight with Dex, for now at least. For Jackie's sake. I'd hate to see something happen to him.

    I have one small request: can you please increase the in-game sound or decrease the volume of your voice! It’s driving me crazy to constantly change the volume on my TV (the same applies to AC)?

  13. Well, I would say that corporate culture would be in favor of not betraying the fixer (and burning a potential asset). Mega-corporations are more about power than money (in my mind)
    That said V already tried the corporate way and has been done from behind for his troubles. As other said there is a good chance that Dex will try to cross him.

  20. I'd recommend against screwing over Dex. Not for your sake, but if you try to pull something like that it'll probably also get Jackie in trouble and Jackie is arguably your only true friend.
    Besides, you are already putting yourself on the shitlist of one of the mightiest corps out there with that job, so you'll have plenty of enemies to begin with – Something tells me that messing with your fixer is a horrible idea because you'd be ruining your cred and that'd just leave you as a lone wolf with no allies, apart from one lady who probably has her own ulterior motives and who isn't much of a name. Not the best strategy for survival in Night City.

  23. Really hoping for the fact that if you've picked up Corpe as your start that you will stick to it, go along into something of a Wick, working for Corpe since most Youtubers I saw going strictly with being just a Street Kid type of stuff and keeping away from Corpe.
