  2. YAAAASSS!!! Thank you so much! I started modding about 6 years ago with YOUR LIST! I had just built my first rig/workstation beginning my career in architecture. Found one of your videos in a Revit/Unreal video list and it was a wrap! Sold my ps4 and xbox360 and never looked back. Since then I've always used your setup as a baseline, tried your other builds as well, but Skyrim was always the best. Really looking forward to this last shot, I think we're all pretty sure you're about to knock it out the park! You're a Legend, mate!

  3. My favorite moment in Skyrim modding so far was in my current playthrough. Where the Stormcloaks autonomously tried to take Whiterun in live gameplay. There were a large cohort of Stormcloak soldiers, moving down the road to the Eastern Watchtower behind Dragonsreach. The guards there went hostile but we're overrun. They moved up towards the meadery road. We spied them from behind, ran into the hills surrounding them, and shot them with arrows. Held them off until another force of Imperials came from the meadery road and there was a large battle, which the Imperials won. We went down to the road, I was force greeted by the legate, who glitched out saying, "the legion could use a man like you" repeatedly, (for every dead Stormcloak) and the game didn't crash. The encounter was chaotic, there were 40-50 NPC's involved, full skirmish combat, and my only thought was, "we have to defend Whiterun!" Amazing.

  4. 10 years! WOW, life moves fast. I was in my late 20's when this game came out, I'll probably be in my mid 40's when ES6 comes out. They need to do something about that. I'd like to play more than one or two more Fallout and Elder Scrolls games before I'm in a nursing home or a box.

  5. My best modding experience was the second week of making the step to pc gaming. Finally came to installing skyrim mods. Scared as hell to even install SKSE in the beginning, let alone ENB's. But Gopher pulled me trough. Then, few weeks later lo and behold: I installed NLA enb and weather with an old version of Flora Overhaul (the old versions were so much better). My mind was blown. That was like 4 years ago, still beats AAA title's graphics wise.

  6. I started modding from LE but since the more stable 64-bit SE launched, I never went back. Between 2020-2021, the one question I have now is: Parallax or No Parallax?

I've seen a few builds, and some advocate parallax all the way for a more modern/fantasy overhaul, while others prefer sticking to the more traditional overall base textures look.

    What's your take? I'm curious..

  8. Quickloot was the biggest game changer for me. It makes the game feel way more fluid and less menu heavy by never having to dive into a paused menu every time you want to access a container!
