Rest of tips is good but the first one well no thanks I learned the hard way through every team base game
I feel like finding a team makes it harder, no? Because then you get placed in lobbies with other three stacks. So yeah you get more coordination but so does every enemy team.
In low elo if you're climbing it just makes sense to solo carry and communicate with randos who have mics. You don't really need to stack until you get to Diamond.
Can you guys explain why Olympus is a bad map rather than just claiming it's bad because the pros say so?
Nice video. I don’t think you mentioned that it’s way easier to get to Platinum, Diamond and beyond this season due to the increased RP in Top 5 placements. Less stressful for sure.
Solo Q is the only way
I played half of last season and this is going to be my first full season I hope I can get to plat cause last season I had made it to gold. I hope with the tips I improve

I just started playing Apex in Season 11, and Olympus is by far my favorite map. It's so small and compressed that every time you fight, you will get a 3rd party, a 4th party, and a 5th and 6th waiting after 2 mins. It keeps the adrenaline high, and forces newbies like me to move and think quickly. I have no idea why pros would refuse to play in this map. It's super fun. Fast paced, beautifully designed, and lots of comical fails when someone falls lol
I would choose Olympus over Stormpoint, a map wherein everyone drops in the hotzone on the outer layer and should you survive, wont see anyone else until 20 mins, and World's Edge which tbh, was a really awesome map as well.
And for context; I had to grind my way to plat 4 in split 2 World's Edge, but in split 1 Olympus, I am already in Gold 2 after just a couple of games. No need to rat to rank up. Just fight, get some kills/assists and you can die knowing you dont have any point deductions. I am confident I can make it to high plat and maybe even diamond this split

Thank God I really thought I was slipping. Cuz I played like 200 games and have 2 wins. I got 2 wins a day over like 3 weeks got gold to plat within a week . I'm glad that I'm not going crazy
Go into death triangle, but drop terminal. Almost nobody drops there
