Ayyy first
hello my friends of the comment section
You do know that when you are outside, it's called "the ground" not "the floor" right? But this is a great, useful video for new players.
Early gang
I am supposed to be laying concrete but just seen this pop up so tools down break time…
Always improving….. Love the channel. Keep it up!
Another one for you – if you want to do big builds, click 'F2' and check how many 'instances' there are. As you build it adds instances, and the more you have the harder it is on your CPU.
Binging Kysen valheim tips and tutorials, about to run out, then a new one comes out, Nice!
and you post this on april first
really wish there was a setting to turn hugin off after so many plays…
Neat Trick: Fell Beech trees onto Birch trees to being them down, then push the logs to smash into each other to get fine wood. Skip over to the Dark forest during the day and drop a few pines for core wood. This will get you the Fine Wood bow early.
I prefer vegetation on medium, it's a good compromise. The game still looks good but sticks and mushrooms are easier to see.
Please Don't believe it guys
This is 1st april
Turning down vegetation, without having performance problems, is kinda cheesing it and makes the game so much less pretty and immersive too.
At the start, forget about the club and only craft a stone axe : it serves both purposes of chopping down trees and melee combat.
Don’t know if this is helpful but when am at burial chambers if it’s got a shelter I put down a work bench as a way to repair while in Black Forest and a camp fire inside at one of the corners for that rested buff but great vid and as always very helpful
the perfect location is something im still looking for 200 hours in. getting close
Hi Kysen, enjoy watching your vids, I know you live in Perth now, but what county/town from England were you from?
This is a great guide, i tried to help but couldn't finish it.
cheers

0:38 register Eikthyr location
1:00 set vegetation settings on low
1:25 explore around Eikthyr location
1:42 explore the path that the Raven already cleared for you
2:07 Use "," and "." to zoom in and out of minimap
2:23 Craft Club
2:39 Kill boars, necks and deers
3:03 Check abandoned structures for loot and bee hives
3:21 If you find many resourses in one place, mark it on map for harvesting later, they respawn
4:12 If you find stones outlining the shape of a boat, mark on map (treasure there, but need pickaxe)
4:41 Read runestones ou find along the way (?)
4:48 Build bases very near ocean
5:02 Build bases near blackforest, but not too near, to be safe
5:27 Try to have many trees nearby your base
5:32 Mark your base on your map
5:47 Craft a Hammer, workbench and build or finish a exising house
6:34 focus on building a bed
6:44 be carefull for falling trees when chopping them.
7:02 If you choose existing structure for base, repair it
7:41 destroy old beds in existing structures (they are not repairable) and make your own and set as spawn
7:53 place campfire outside structure, but near bed
8:25 kill lots of boar to craft bow
I have notice taking down abandoned buildings is seemingly helping with my games fps and game performance. Maybe worth looking at. Its let me make my own base bigger.
You don't need to kill grey dwarves for resin – chop down saplings.
With the bores I have converted old copper mines into large pits and trap them in. And feed them from the top of the pit. I am also looking at making the odd trap pits to see if I can trap things in them possible?
