Mortal Kombat Stunts In Real Life (Movie & Video Games)

The boys at Imperius Rex reached out and asked if I’d be interested in collaborating with them to mark the release of the latest Mortal Kombat movie.

My initial response was, I am not a martial artist. I can barely throw a roundhouse kick, never mind a bicycle kick. I’ve got no wires or CGI at my disposal.
This is totally out of my comfort zone.

Then I thought about it. My “Stunts In Real Life” series, as well as being a way to trend jack on highly searched terms and trending topics, has provided me with an opportunity to learn new skills and explore my existing ones. It’s never come from a place of ego. I’m not a Free Runner, Gymnast, Tricker or martial artist but I am someone who enjoys fitness training and who loves being creative with my athleticism.

You guessed it, I said yes.

So here it is, my take on some of the stunts/moves/techniques from the Mortal Kombat franchise. It includes scenes from the original MK movie from 1995, Mortal Kombat Annihilation plus some of the old school Mortal Kombat arcade video games.
