  1. The dodge messes with stealth a lot since it takes you out of crouch… Thankfully a dodge button mod exists along with a slow walk button, but basic things like this shouldn't be implemented by randos on the internet.

  2. I felt like this game was just such a let down. It touts the RPG first selling point but then fails to have meaningful ways for you to interact with the world. It also seems to fail to have non meaningful interactions.

  3. The dodge problem doesn't happen on controller, you have to be moving in a direction and then double tap B/O/(insert crouch button here) You actually kinda get the opposite problem where you never use it because it takes so much to do you'll get hit before you can enter all the inputs.

  4. I’ve been playing this the same way I played Mass Effect. Focus on the story, rush though the combat. The combat could’ve been removed and I wouldn’t miss it, the main problem being the brain-dead A.I.

Which is a shame, I think a game of the modern era (especially a game hyped to be cutting edge, and a leap in gaming.) should be able to have both compelling combat and compelling story.

  5. I've played this game for 2 hours now. It's awesome ! I haven't run into any bugs yet except for small items levitating from dead bodies. But it's barely noticeable in gun fights. The car handling is a bit off though. There is a delay in input. The graphics are really great. The ambience, the neon , the smoke. Night City is incredible!

  6. Pc player here! I agree both that game is it's own unique thing and is incredibly beautiful even on my lower/mid level rig. As for the story while yes I joke that its gta with penises and mecha. Its also just a really really damn good story. As for its shooting mechanics I gotta admit they seem really really meh at first but when the weapon diversity opens up to smart link weapons and tech variants of normal guns things do get very fun! The melee combat feels almost kinda like skyrim but with gore tbh. Sorry not sorry. I like it all either way tbh. Will admit though, holy fuck this game is buggy. It wasn't so bad at first but now as I feel like im toward the end of the game I have to reload a save nearly every 10 minutes cause of something breaking.

  7. Stop saying this is the new crysis. Crysis looked next gen when it launched. This game looks like the same shit we've seen in the last two years. This game is just straight up unoptimized

  8. This game brought took my 1080 Ti into a back alley and took its ego down a notch or two.

Managed to get 60fps at 1440p solid using that Static Fidelity option to 85% which is like 1200p or something. Still looks good though.
